Top BEST Natures in Pokemon

Tbh, there really isnt a best Nature. It just really depends on which Pokemon. But I do think the most common is Timid, Jolly, Adamant, & Modest.

Sometimes a defense boosting nature that drops a useless star like attack on a gardevoir can make it live uneexpected stuff or boosting or a already high stat like mudsdale defense make the bulkiest in the universe

Great list, Mystic! I used to think any nature that hinders defenses to be bad but your explanation for Naive’s placement changed my perspective and understand how mixed attackers are used.

Based completely on my insane amount of bad luck with natures, I hypothesize the game knows which natures fit best with each pokemon, and will go out of its way to give you everything BUT that nature(s) you want for your run. Or, it will have the right nature, but will then give you the ability you DON'T want in exchange.

The only time I've ever looked into natures was when I began running Eeveelution teams in playthroughs. In Y, I had a Jolly Leafeon, a Modest Espeon, a Timid Glaceon, a Brave Jolteon, an Adamant Flareon, an Impish Umbreon, a Calm Sylveon and Vaporeon... I lucked into an Impish Umbreon for my ongoing Ultra Sun team and it's been a lot of fun using it.

Jolly timid and adamant are my favorite natures.

I always preferred the neutral natures like Hardy, not messing with any of my stats in that way, yet EV training HP, giving me an odd yet fun advantage in some cases.

Natures always appealed to me. The time I've spent trying to catch a jolly dratini was time well spent.😤

At one point in white 2 I had caught a mienfoo with a naughty nature which I taught drain punch and thunder punch

I use Adamant on Haxorus, and set up with Dragon Dance. that 432 ATK is something to be feared

IN emerald I was looking for a Zigzagoon with Jolly as Google says its the best nature for it but I did find one with Adamant is that also good coz mostly Zigzagoon use Headbutt lot of physical moves. So Adamant for Zigzagoon would be decent for it.

I think a dope video would be “best counter team” for said OG best team of a particular game or region. Like, for competition purposes, someone building a team to battle a best team you’ve already made a video for.

I focus on a physical attack team, always bringing crobat and gallade, i rarely bring special moves such as phycic or aura sphere, adamant will help me sweep I usually try to bring a swords dance or something to boost attack knowing there will be a opponent with a intimidate

I’m very surprised how low the Adamant and Modest natures are.

My favorites are Modest and Adamant, then Jolly and Timid and for mixed attackers (which I don’t like) I would use a neutral nature. 😅

How do you rank natures? Its literally based on what your pokemon needs. Each nature is equally good. Timid is number 1 on this list (for whatever reason) but its horrible on physical attackers.

There is no Top 10 Natures but Top 10 Natures for Specific Pokémons. Natures are all balanced depending on the Pokémon stat you willing to sacrifice but the best ones are Neutral. Attack : Lonely Adamant Naughty Brave Defense : Bold Impish Lax Relaxed Special Atk: Modest Mild Rash Quiet Special Def : Calm Gentle Careful Sassy Speed : Timid Hasty Jolly Naive Neutral: Hardy Docile Bashful Quirky Serious

Had a Modest natured Glaceon in a Platinum playthrough: very fun. A certain infamous Pokémon was its b_tch.

Relative. Most parte of hers have utillity. Only neutral natures are useless. One Ferrothorn with Gyroball is better with Relaxed or the another then boost Special Defense and drop his special attack. I don't remember right now. The obivious are Adamant /Modest, Jolly / Timid, Calm / Careful and Bold / Impish.

There is no “best” nature. It all depends on the Pokémon. I’d want an Adamant nature on my Scizor, but not my Alakazam. I’d use impish on my Ferrothorn, but not my Greninja. I wouldn’t use Speed boosting natures on my Trick room team, but would on hyper offense. The best nature depends on the Pokémon you’re using and how you want to build it. Physical Infernape, Mixed Ape, and Special Infernape wild all use different natures depending on their build

So just to be sure, is Adamant or Impish the best on Scizor? Or Jolly?

You've posted some nonsense but this takes the cake, there is no best nature and no objective way to rank them, maybe stick to playthrough stuff and leave the competitive side to someone like Emvee or Joey

For me, Natures are completely pointless. There extremely situational and problematic in both Playthroughs and competitive. Those things shouldn't have to exist in the first place at all.
