As a guy who lives in Texas I just want to remind Minnesota how lucky they are to have Klobuchar. She is a treasure.

She is so right regarding newspapers! My local newspaper kept my community in touch. High School news, local meetings, obituaries, local events, all the fabric of our lives. Local radio stations were so interconnective to the community. I mourned the loss of our little local news station as soon as I heard it was being shut down. Communities benefitted in numerous ways from our news people. It truly knit our community together.

Being from Texas and seeing the comparison of TC and Senator Klobuchar in the fight for democracy, it is so embarrassing. Obviously, Cruz still thinks of himself as presidential material and wants that 45-base attention, but he is one of the very few on an almost empty island who evens thinks of him, except in a negative manner

One of the reasons that happened, most of that State is on its own "Grid" it's not tied into the East or the West Grids. I received my Oregon voters pamphlet today. In political mailings, Republicans hide their Republican affiliation. But in the pamphlet, I noticed A LOT of "NONPARTISONS". I know what non-affiliated means since that's what I am......But this "nonpartisan" sounds suspiciously like "I'm hiding my Republican affiliation". I need a way to figure out what nonpartisan means. Because it apparently DOES NOT MEAN non-affiliated. It only suggests: "I'd rather not say" to me. I'm leaning toward lumping "nonpartisan" with Republicans. I also have no idea what the "constitution" party represents. It feels like another "I'd rather not say". That Republicans will choose to hide their republican loyalties in a bright blue State is a given, it's time to figure out how to sort the wheat from the chaff.
