For DIY ice cream. Use heavy cream and blend with frozen berries = very good. Easy to make. You can use a mini blender or regular blender. I let the fruit sit out for about 3-5 mins (depending on the time of year summer/winter) then blend eat it on the spot or put it in the freezer. Or you can blend with fresh fruit & heavy cream then stick in the freezer. Some will reblend the ice cream once frozen. I dont because I am to lazy lol 😂🍦
I actually add cottage cheese with frozen berries and heavy cream- you can add stevia too. It makes a super smooth sherbet/smoothie! It’s delicious and the cottage cheese blends smooth in my ninja!

Breyers has great low carb ice creams and bars. There's a brand just called "KETO" that has these great chocolate covered, sea salt caramel flavored ice cream bars - VERY GOOD!!

@@LowCarbLove Yeah, I've made that before, it's delicious though it's about as dirty as you can get. if someone were to make it and eat the entire thing its like 113 total carbs. Breaking it into 6 servings it's 19 total carbs. it's got starches, terrible sweeteners & seed oils. It's a step in the right direction for sure, hopefully a gateway to better options.
Hello! I just love you and all your videos. So many great recipes!!! I always love having new, easy and healthy recipes to try. Shopping videos like this one are great as well. Problem is that most grocery store items that say Keto or Keto friendly are NOT clean though. They are still very processed and have chemical toxins and hidden sugars that are all very bad for you. I have been doing Intermittent Fasting along with Clean Keto for over a year now. I’ve lost over 70 lbs. and have gotten off of all my blood pressure medications and my blood work has changed for the better. I didn’t want to just lose weight, I wanted to be healthy!!! Otherwise, what’s the point if it’s just for how you look? Just say’n. I’d rather make my own Keto bread or chaffles to use rather than buy processed stuff from the store. Know what’s actually healthy and read those labels!!!!!
If your in the uk please do not remove fibre from carbs as it’s already been removed on our packaging, it was my own big mistake as I didn’t realise when I started keto as no one said to me

Another thing that is good instead of potato chips are sliced radishes. Yum. With ranch dressing and sliced pickles. Or for something sweet radishes and green grapes.

I used to drink FAIRLIFE but after finding out they are the WORST dairy company around and the FURTHEST thing from FAIRLIFE on their animals. They abuse their cows TERRIBLY. CHOOSE LOCAL MILK!

Those zero carb tortillas are the bomb, especially for us bariatric patients who need smaller portions. I just had a rollup with one and some pb and sugar free strawberry perserves. I haven't tried the shirataki noodles, but really want to. I've tried the Palmini pasta, and it's pretty good, and about 4g net carbs/serving. Hidden Valley makes a Greek yogurt ranch dressing that I love! 1 net carb, 1g protein/2Tbsp, and it tastes awesome. There's a line of sauces called G Hughes and are all sugar free and low carb. I've only tried the bbq sauce, but it was good. The sf Cool Whip is really good. It's obviously not exactly like the regular stuff, but still really good. The Enlightened brand of ice cream bars are good. Really creamy.
Thank you for sharing your tips. I watch all the time to get ideas on what to eat. I am a type 1 diabetic I have to go by Total carbs. Be careful with the no sugar added items. It may say no sugar but it can be loaded with sugar. I use regular cool whip girl Lol. It's not that much sugar in it. I also use the Silk Oat milk it only has 5g of carbs. And instead of ice cream, I've been eating frozen yogurt. There is a frozen yogurt that's coated with chocolate or salted caramel and it only has 6g of total carbs for one poppable. And taste great. I only need one. But if you like it a lot and over eat it will not be a good thing. If my sugar is low or a good number I treat myself to eat two of them. I am only talking about the poppables not the ones on a stick. They are the Yasso poppables. Try them. 😊
I hate orweat keto brand it has an aftertaste . Nature own is better .. it’s higher with 9 net carb but so much better … love love missions tortilla. Best pasta are Konjac / miracle noodles for sure ❤️ zoodles are 🤢

See Victoria’s Keto Kitchen on YT for keto “milk” from cream, no lactose. Super simple. Ppl on the channel r loving it. N u don’t have to worry about homogenized milk (bad for u). Easier to find raw cream too… Alot of Traders Joes have it. Maybe even bigger groceries?

@@Shannontutorials To go into ketosis you have to go full on keto. You lose fast with ketosis but I found that too hard to sustain so now I am doing well just going low carb.
I use the mission carb balance for pretty much everything, they are actually really good also as thin crust pizza. I butter a cast iron skillet heat at low medium place a tortilla in the hot butter then low sugar sauce, cheese and meats cover and let everything get real friendly. Thin crust Skillet pizza anyone?

I recently watched a documentary on the milk brand Fair life which showed the cows being beaten and abused 😢 which is why I stopped buying that brand .

I agree with most of the content except the sodium. Salad dressings also have lots of sodium. Somebody forgot about sodium. Blue diamonds are full of them. I would go with unsalted nuts. If you are watching your weight, definitely need to watch the sodium. Also, not to mention, having healthy mindset. Restrict too much, and body releases cortisol and your hormones, and the unseen beautiful cellular system gets distracted. Weight loss is better with sustainability. Don't overdo it. It's not the numbers, you are a total person. Sleep, as well as moderate physical activity, with balanced diet is the way to go.

Carb Smart Ice Cream Bars are delicious and have 3-4 net carbs depending on which one you choose. Sometimes they are harder to find--but usually Walmart has them.
I gave my son 7 the sugar-free cool whip and blueberries, and he LOVED them. Tasted myself and was delicious!! For me, this is a win because I get to feed extra good stuff to my kid without him noticing 😂

I make my own ice cream from my protein shake, wont mention brands in case that’s not allowed. Put it in my ninja creami and it is amazing. I also get a variety of flavors that way
This might be a dumb question lol but if anyone knows help me out!! I use red bell pepper and onion on my meats but I don’t eat them I just like the flavor they give. So if I’m not eating then am I still getting the carbs???
