I'm a fan of grilled flank steak on any salad! I would just add it at the end. If you want to add chicken, I'd add it before you toss it.

Thanks Walter! So... my acrylic salad bowl has been in my family for many years (and I love it! Use it all the time!) and I haven't been able to find another one on Amazon that's the same It's approx 24 inches in diameter. I did find this one here: amzn.to/2UxeDi8 but I think it's way too expensive and I would never spend that kind of money on a salad bowl! So my best suggestion is to actually poke around Good Will stores if you have any near you (they often carry this kind of random stuff). There are also some large 20 inch salad bowls on Amazon here that I think are cool: amzn.to/2UvsJkb

What's your tip for incorporating avocado in salads also meant for a party? How should it be diced? Should it be tossed along with other ingredients or placed on top like the red onions? Also, I'm supposed to soak cut avocados in lemon juice to prevent browning, right? I personally usually always eat leafy green salads with avocados. That, and some type of fresh fruit. Thanks.

This is a good question! I will typically remove the pit, slice the avodado in the skin (but leave the pieces in the skin), drizzle with a bit of lemon or lime juice, put the halves back together, then scoop it out right before serving. I also tend to just put them on top so they don't get buried.

That all depends on how much you serve up and the amount of dressing. On average, I'd say about 200-250.
