Day 3 done - feeling disheartened as this is only a beginners workout and I wasn't flexible enough to do some of these workouts. 😩 I'll keep pushing and after four weeks I am coming back to this video to prove myself how far I can go👊
You'll do that! I'm on Day 3 too, but i did some regular videos and a workout by denise austin before. BUT I'm still struggeling w/ some moves, haha :D
I struggled with a lot of these, too. I don't think it's so much that I'm not flexible or out of shape. I think it's more that the moves are just awkward and hard to teach ourselves without an instructor present. Hopefully we'll all get better at these as pilates moves/positions become more natural for us.

beatka tothova Me too! Today's workout combo didn't make me feel much though, aside from falling over a lot due to my lack of balance, haha! Especially on the banana moves, couldn't balance enough. The double leg lifts really made me feel something though, had to put my hands underneath me to do it. Good luck with the rest of the calendar!
Just finished day three of beginners calendar. Yesterday I couldn't do the roll up, but today, it was tough but I made it all the way up! I love seeing progress!
I finished day 3 I'm so happy right now. I've never really continued a workout routine before but Cassey is so motivating and positive, I'm so sure this is working.

Nicole hi, so well, I didnt actually want to tone up my muscels but actually lose weight, and I read somewhere that these workouts only make your stomach and legs bigger because of the muscles so I stopped doing this workout. ( i still love cassey though lol ) But, I've started doing workouts from XHit daily ( mainly two: miley cyrus leg workout + 9 excercises to flatten your stomach ) on youtube, and its so effective omg. And, to answer your question, nope. I eat as much as I want to. 🌚😂
I'm on my 3rd day and I noticed some changes in my body. Yes I was still sore from the past 2 days but somehow doing this made the pain less. I can also finally lift my back off the matt without my hands easily. The moment I was able to do it I was just surprised! I couldn't do it on day 1 but now I can. I still find these difficult but sticking with it daily can really build your strength. I also did the posture exercise video before this AND extremefitnesspro's total body stretching (lasts for 10 minutes each) and will do fitness blender's 5 minute cool down video. And yes I do pair these exercises with healthy food
I was busy all day and really thought about skipping my beginners calender today because it was already past midnight but I'm glad I still did it! This was so much fun :)
Day 3 complete! I'm a new mama, trying to regain my core strength. I think having a set schedule, and knowing exactly what to do each day helps me stay motivated and on track. Thank you for the videos and for being so bubbly :)

I can't describe how motivational Cassie is. She's just so cheery and uplifting; even after a whole day of work and being super tired, watching her workout videos makes me instantly energetic. Yay day 3!! Also, I love how these beginner videos aren't hours long. The short and fierce workouts help me get into it, unlike other "beginner" work out videos I used to follow. Thank you, Cassie!!!
The first time I did this I really struggled. I may not be flexible enough to get my leg hip high, but amazing to see a week of work outs can allow me to keep up with Cassey! Thanks you guys!
I finally made time & had energy to begin working out again, thankful to have a Beginner workout to get me started. I love this simple, short, but powerful workout. I liked that all the moves were not too challenging for a beginner like me. THANKS!
Day three. I liked this workout with Ana even though I'm still struggling with Pilates, following the beginner calendar. Did yesterday AND today at the same time since I didn't check in yesterday. Now I'm on track :) Hope I can complete these 28 days...the exercises are more difficult than I expected and I'm more out of shape than I thought!
Hi everyone! I'm on day three of the 90 day challenge and so excited! I focus on the beginners calender, but whenever I can go to the gym I add little cardio or some other workouts from the "Aprilates"-calender, as well. Also today I tried the banana-egg pancakes for the first time and they are absolutely amazing! I wish evryone else good luck and strength- we can do it! :)
I remember getting Ana's video in 2004 while I was going to esthetician school in Maui! I'm so happy to see that she's still making videos and killin it! My 2 friends and I would do your video after our homework every day. Thanks for the motivation!
This was actually easy to do! Don't get me wrong - a week ago I would've been struggling. However, as crazy as it sounds, after just two days of the beginner 2.0 workouts, I feel like my ab strength and endurance has really increased! Is that even possible in such a short time? I've just completed Day 3, but I'm combining the Blogilates beginner 2.0 with Fitness Blender cardio workouts for best results! Although I feel stronger, I couldn't get through the Fitness Blender workout today without multiple pauses - makes me realize how important cardio and strength both are! Good luck to everyone! :)
These were some really good beginners moves that I haven't officially come across yet from free-styling Cassey's videos for a few months, I'm so glad I am doing the beginners calendar to get a better foundation :) Feeling the burn!!
I'm doing the 30 Day Blogilates Beginner 2.0 Calendar and I honestly flipped out when I saw that Ana Caban was in today's video!! I love Ana, I used to watch all of her workouts when I was a teenager. My favorite pilates intructors in one video!!! Thank you both for all your hard work and inspiration throughout my life. ♥
Yay I am LOVING restarting this beginners calendar!! I feel really good and I am proud of myself. Although I am not yet to the level of being able to do some of the stuff, I am modifying and I definitely still fill it! Stay encouraged everyone!
Beginner's calendar day 3 complete! I have the calendar printed out and pinned on my wall in my room, I love checking off the boxes and the satisfaction I get when a whole day is done. So proud of myself for keeping with it and doing everything for each day, I love feeling sore the next day and knowing I got a good workout!
That banana move is me reaching my phone from the other side of the couch! 😭 But day 3 done! For anyone else doing this, stay motivated- we can do this!

Day 3 of the Beginner 2.0 calendar done! Bit disappointed that I couldn't do every movement because I'm currently ridiculously inflexible, but looking forward to the day I can do the entire video without skipping anything :)
I know I started a little bit later, but it is my day 3 of beginners workout. I feel the muscles working but i do not really sweat, am I doing something wrong?
with day 3 I wasn't really sweating either. started late like you as well! for the first two days I think it was more rigorous, I guess, so I was sweating more. this video did get my heart rate up a little bit though!
I'm doing Day 3 as well. It's def not as challenging as the previous 2 days, I think to kinda give us a bit of a break and a boost of encouragement. :)
Hey! I just started with this and well, this really made me sweat like anything. Though these were easier but yes I sweat like crazy. Haha hope to have a nice figure soon. 😅
I love day 3 of the beginners calendar 2.0. And I love this video. The workouts are great! I could do everything without taking a break. I'm so motivated and exited.
This workout was insane (read as AMAZINGLY challenging and great and lovely and motivating!). I just feel so full of energy and positive! Thank you for helping me and a lot of other people reach out for our goals!
I'm doing the beginner's calendar but I haven't felt really sore yet. I get tired during the workouts but the day after I feel nothing. Before I found the calendar I did a Bikini Blaster workout and that made me really sore but I don't know if I'm doing this wrong??? Because I'm not really in shape. My cardio sucks and I have asthma so I usually have a hard time breathing. I guess I'll keep doing it and see what happens.
Doing the beginner calender. Definitely feeling the soreness but it was a little easier today. Not sure if I'm getting a little stronger or if Cassey and Ana were going easy on me ;) . So happy I started doing this. Everyone else either doing the calendar or doing this for fun, DON'T STOP and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :D
This is my second time that I am going to complete the beginners 2.0 and I am so pleased to say that this was SOOOO much easier than the first time around! Popsters keep up the good hard work! :)
I know I'm a little late on the beginners calendar bust so what!! anyway after today and yesterday my abs already feel so much stronger and I'm LOVING it!! thanks so much!
I have been trying to do this and others that involve laying on your side but I have really sharp pain in my hips when I lay on them. Do you have anything in mind for this? I can't complete the exercises as it hurts too much. It's also like my hips pop out of place (not painful) when I try to align them stacked.
I love the fact that by the time i'm getting mentally (because the moves are different from anything I ever knew) or physically uncomfortable doing a move and want to stop the video, I find out "only two more times!" and i'm like "Oh! I CAN do this!" These workouts are definitely effective, I feel it the next day, but I don't get overwhelmed and want to give up. It's perfect.
Finally completed day 3! Surprisingly I didn't have trouble keeping balance with the banana twists, but I don't feel anything after this workout. Is anyone else like unsatisfied if they don't feel anything afterwards?
AAAAGH! I love Ana Caban! I own sooo many of her dvd's and she's how I first learned of Pilates as well! I'm so glad you posted this! You two are a dream team! :)
OMG NO WAY!!!!!!! I LOVE HEEEERRR!!! I did that Gaiam video of her on the beach every day for years! To the point where I didn't need the video anymore. Even through the few years where I really let myself go, my core remained strong enough to become wonderwoman whenever the time called for it (usually involving a dance floor or parade hahaha). That muscle memory and core strength! Truly magical forces of nature to be reckoned with! And even now, starting back up again with Blogilates. This is so cool!!! Heros! Rollingoutmymatnow
