Ingredients for rice pudding
1/3 cup pearl or short grain rice
1/3 cup sugar
3 cups full fat milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp cinnamon
bring contents to the boil and then simmer for 45 minutes , stir frequently.
Plum Compote
3 cups of chopped plums (stones removed)
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
bring sugar and water to boiling point , when sugar has completely dissolved lower heat and add plums carefully.
cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
allow to cool before serving .
