You can also review one good old school Croatian artist if you have time, his name is El Bahatte with songs dame i gospodo (ladies and gentlemen ) I svaki pas ima svoj dan (every dog has it's own day ) ,I'm surprised nobody mentioned here , because it one of big names of old school rap in Balkan.
this song is arguably one of the most influential songs in balkan rap history, it is not just a part of rap culture but zagreb culture in general, everyone in the streets will know this song and it is refrenced alot in zagreb culture. it talks about kids in the 90s which basically thought they were cool because they were doing adult thing, like drugs etc. unfortanetly this was a reality because in the 90s croatia was vastly diffrent than it is today, and alot of kids were doing drugs because there was alot less cops and alot more drugs, fights, and other shit happening, especially in the hoods which were at the end of town. i know of a few stories from my hood where i heard that they would start with glue, and end up on dope a few years later… zagreb hoods were nothing to mess with. but anyways this song is a classic and it kind of speaks for itself, definetly one of my favs
@@dole8409 Its at an all time high in terms of MDMA, Speed and Weed. Back in the 90s there was heroin epidemic so i'd say its a little bit safer on average nowadays.
Stoka - Spremni za rat. (Ready for war) The best what Croatia can offer. One take song and video. Best flow in the Balkan region and one of the first rappers in Croatia. A true legend of the sport. :)
I’m born 95. and I grew up on Tram 11, Nered, Stoka, El Bahatee, that’s best what you can get from hip hop, not just here in Balkan states, talking about worldwide, period! I’m more than thankful that you start reacting and representing on classic’s from our part of the world! 🇭🇷 BIG RESPECT, seriously guys thank you! 👊🏽
Yes they are good cause they all started raping under the influence of Prti BeeGee and Ajs Nigrutin they all grow up on real Serbian underground hip hop ..
True old school rap from Zagreb. Just to mention, most of their songs don't have any real swearing and texts are really hitting the spot. Listen to "Vrucina gradskog asfalta". They described summer in Zagreb so well...summer for kids that didn't have rich parents but stayed on the streets of Zagreb, just wandering around, sitting on a playground and waiting for heat to go away. It describes childhood of many kids in Zagreb in the late 90s and early 2000s.
this group started all 4 balkan...if there was no tram 11 ther wouldent be no bad copy prti bee gee or any other rap here so salute 2 you 2 and tram 11!!!!
The best Balkan hip hop tune of all time. Funnily enough the best album ever is by another Croat from Zagreb called El Bahattee. The album is called Svaki Pas Ima Svoj Dan (Every Dog has his Day). Trust me when I say it’s the Balkan equivalent to Illmatic. Next level imagery and eloquence talking about the realist stuff (war, drugs, organised crime, hellish corruption and bureaucracy) from the Croatian perspective.
@@envyXzor Prti Bee Gee was a little kid who broughting watter to this RAP LEGENDS TRAM11 - 1+1=11 ! So pls dont talk nonsense, they are above 2pack lvl. Like we said, rap was from America, but rapp was accomplished in Zagreb (Croatia)

@@zlatanseferovic1634 Ne znam..Vise puta sam im preporucivao Hrvatski hip hop,a oni nikako da puste..Vidim da su se odusevili sa Tram 11 i nadam se da ce i ostali da im se svide
Zagreb and croatia in those times as well as now had one of the best rappers and producers you can imagine. A lot of the finest producers and djs like koolade, phat phillie, etc. worked with some extra popular names in america like masta ace wu tang... All in all croatia has some of the best rap artist in all of the balkans and especially then(1999-2000) they were on the top lists on the world. Stoka, Nered,El bahatte, Tram 11, Elemental, Edo maajka (Bosnian but in that time worked and created in Zagreb), Bolesna braća are just some of the names one must check out! Big up the skonson family!
You digged out some of OG ... maybe biggest OG from Croatian rap, Balkan rap... even some can dispute some of quality but the fact is these guys started it all.
One oldschool hit with sick beat “Sick rhyme sayazz- blowin up your sector”. Sick rhyme sayazz Are also known as Bolesna Braća (Sick brothers) and they are from era of Tram 11
Few days ago this guys created really emotional song about our currency kuna that we replaced with euro. It's called "Zbogom kuno" ("farewell kuna"). To bad there isn't subtitle because it's very touching ("In Sava river the rat is swimming, in parliament the occupier")
Funny u said “to the fullest” coz general woo (from tram 11) has song called “mc to the fullest” hahah dawgs, i stumbled across youre reactions this night and me likey likey, keep up the good work and love across whole world (including balkans which i like u rewieving) hip hop is about “little man” , his strugle, and good goddamn bam bam beat to back it up, thats why i fell in rap in general ❤ peace, love, and big up on that respekt +
Also bout theese guys, one of foregathers from croatian rap inspires by americans, began in like 90’s and this whole group is like ground up for croatian rap, aswell as Stoka which picked up mike haaawt after em
