Optimus is savage. Let an entire city be destroyed just to make a point. He was so done with everyone’s bullshit. Welp! Humans are hardheaded. They had to learn the hard way.
@@Adam-er5rc Yeah, if it were European cinemas they would want the Decepticons to set up grooming gangs and create "no-go" zones in their cities. They would cheer to be cucked.
When I was a kid I really thought all of those autobots died and the humans had to fight for themselves. Then I saw this scene, and it was mind blowing!
Same. Might've been cuz I was a kid and didnt believe in ex-machina. idk if things would change now cuz back then I didnt know movie trailers existed that teased scenes. In all honesty, knowing Michael Bay, the US military couldve taken on the Decepticons and won. They'd just have to....u know...drop a nuke or just straight up dronestrike/carpet bomb
President? He can easily qualify as the supreme leader of the world. Cares for the wellbeings of everyone but won't hesitate to tear your face off if you push him too far.
Armir Gashi what’s with everybody now having that matrix profile pic? Seriously. And sometimes I think the explosions are a bit exaggerated, realistic but exaggerated.
This scene is why I love the Witwicky trilogy. Not because of the dialogue or anything, but because of the visual effects. The robots in the first 3 films looked absolutely amazing, like they were actually real and a part of the world around them, and their transformations, both slow and quick, were breathtakingly beautiful and amazing to watch, especially frame by frame. Age of Extinction and the Last Knight, in terms of VFX, just don’t hold a candle to the Witwicky trilogy.
Gotta hate watching scenes of the movie, cause every time they end I'm like ''Fuck I gotta watch the rest of it now, again'' even tho I've seen it so many times I've lost count
+damian lyman Pretending to leave the Earth, fake their death and letting Decepticons, the enemy they know their machinations very well, destroy an entire city and kill it's population?........ Some plan.
First time I saw this scene in the theater, I had goosebumps. The audience was cheering. Every time I see it now I get the same feeling. I just find this scene ***king epic
The way he looks at Epps when he says “what do you suggest I do?” Shows his fear that she’s gone and he’ll never see her again. That’s true acting right there. Even for someone like Shia Labouffe or however you say it
How can anyone hate these scenes... The music, the action, the sounds of the decepticon ships firing, and above all beloved and inspiring Optimus Prime... The way Eps said to young Sam: _"it's over... I'm sorry, but it's over."_ And then Optimus arrives... The theme was Soo legendary for Transformers, especially when Optimus used to give his speech! Pleasure to have seen it at the theatre for the first time in 3D!
It’s great people just didn’t like how much transformers were changed from its source, even the seriousness of the cybertron games were just as good while not robbing tf of what it is, super excited for Travis’s next TF movie
I’m an ‘04 and I’ve always loved this franchise and still do. This was actually the first tf movie I saw in theaters when I was 7 with my cousins. We watched this and I loved it. We actually sneaked off to see Cars 2 as well after lol. Miss the good old days.
1:30 I was like, who shot that bullet and I was in theaters 2011 and when Optimus Prime was walking my Dad was like hitting my arm with excitement same as me
The first three transformers were really something man, I remember watching this in theaters and the efforts to save humanity really did feel hopeless.
Okay can we talk about how dope it was when Optimus said “We will kill them all” and as he reloading his gun too but overall my favorite transformers movie
The whole entrance bit for the Wreckers just... it sent chills up and down my spine. They were like fucking torturers and executioners with the way they literally ripped that Decepticon limb from limb. The "Wreckers, *KILL HIM"* and "This is going to hurt, A LOT" bits just drove in all the way to hilt how done they were with restraint and putting up with the Decepticons' bullshit. That whole scene was legitimately unnerving. I've never had such a rock-hard carnage boner in my entire life.
Optimus, Wreckers, Bumblebee, Dino, Que, Sideswipe, Ratchet all great characters coming together once again, wait, I wish Ironhide lived long enough to be here 😥
Sam pisses me off to no end. The entire world is at stake, millions are being slaughtered, but Sam is dragging the military into the enemy stronghold *just to get his fucking girlfriend*, because "WE'RE IN LURRRRRRVE!!1!!11"
Your are sooo right I'm like Optimus died for you saved your ass a million times and what your stupid girlfriend that betrayed you do jack shit that's what she only gave you pain
597jazz With the world in the state it was in, Sam shouldn't have tried to drag *anyone* into that situation, doesn't matter if it was military or ex-military; when the world is going to hell in a hand basket, the last thing you do is take soldiers that could be useful somewhere else to find your SO, even if it would hurt you like hell to not find them.
***** How the hell is it stupid? And does it even matter in a fictional movie about fictional alien robots thats only for entertainment and not for being discussed about why a part of the script is stupid.
I love how war like Optimus gets over the course of the series.. In the first movie he was still a wise leader, but he felt younger and still idealistic (optimistic if you will) but as time goes on and he gets more and more sick of dealing with the humans bullshit it’s as if his anger and frustration starts manifesting as he is more ready to jump to violence and is far more ruthless compared to his first appearance. Everybody else: Optimus: “We will kill them all.”
I was expecting the Autobots (Specifically Prime and Bee) to survive the wreckage and I knew that they would comeback sometime in the movie. I just didn't know how badass they would come back "We will kill them all"
Contrary to popular belief, I fucking love all of these movies. I’ve seen them all dozens of times. I used to watch them back to back and play with my Transformers toys while watching. The good ol’ days… I really wish Megan Fox was in the third movie though. 😢
To quote a article I read somewhere: "There is a generation, who if Optimus Prime walked down their street calling them to join him in battle-they would follow. " Me, if I ever met Peter Cullen I'd be a 8 year old again. Same thing happened when I met Larry Kenny aka Lion-O. Peter is the last of the voices of my childhood I need to meet.
The way Optimus says 'We will kill them all...' only serves to show how mercy to him is something that is a memory of the distant past, and he'll tear the everlasting fuck out of anything that stands in his way.
i feel alone here in the comment cause all of them so old just me loving the sad moments and the happy ones in this movie (read this with the music when they was leaving " you will always be my friend sam" ) you gonna cry
