Just got the reissue with the new paint. Jesus it's beautiful. And like you. I held on to the toyworld forever. If you still are...let it go. The new reissue with the metallic paint is my forever cosmos. I'm comfortable that even fans toys can only match it, but not beat it.

oh man that looks sooo good . I want a toy color green because I had so many Cosmo when I was a kid (kept loosing them). That yellow is perfect. The feet are well done. Good review, I got my finger on the purchase button .

Might be the only one to think the green is a wee bit too dark. Anyone else agree? Nice figure nonetheless, very much animation accurate.

I love this figure. Not only does it look fantastic but I really enjoy the transformation. He also has pretty fantastic articulation, especially for such a clunky bot. I'm also always a huge fan of flight stands, and I got lucky that mine fits together really well.

If you unfold the bottom panels and back side panels swing the panel with the peg hole out on it's own he pegs into the cone stand fine then just close everything back up carefully job done.

I got super unlucky with my copy of the blue version- so many issues! Paint apps missing, the white paint on the front panel rubbed off straight out of the box (I had to scrape the rest off with my finger because it looked so bad, which also took zero effort). The tractor beam won’t fit on mine either, and the front of it won’t stay together in ufo mode, abd a snapped off peg near the thrusters… Really poor. I own Andras and Janssen and they are both great, but I think I’ll stick with Fanstoys in the future… you get what you pay for

I finally picked this up but I got the blue, female version (Barada). I usually go for toon accurate look but the blue just looked so so good. However I much prefer the name Klaatu. She also gets a couple extra paint decos. Don't know why it took me so long to transformer her but I'm glad I finally got around to it cause it's so impressive.

I've been doing research on your channel looking for a good 3P menasor and when I watched your vid discussing the options, you mentioned X-Transbots. I gotta say, even though the amount of figures they have is limited, you are ecstatic on this company. In other words, I'm on X-T side of 3P

I waited because I didn't like the way toyworld version looked. I decided to buy xtransbots which this is my first figure from them and I have slot of third party figures. And.... I love this comos and I'm glade to bought it.

Another great review. I'm really starting to warm up to the idea of accepting more 3P on my MP shelf. Never bought XTB. Not buying this, either. But, crucially, that's only because I don't feel like I need a Cosmos. XTB, on the other hand, in my opinion, have recently won the Cosmos wars, Won the Hoist wars and, had Dante actually been released, probably would have won the Inferno wars, too. That's reputation building stuff versus some really big hitters! They have taken themselves from a 3P that I wouldn't consider buying from to a company whose future releases I will be looking at very carefully and positively as I look to jump on board. Thanks for the review! :-)

Thanks. I actually knew that - isn't the plan to let the inferno competition die down before releasing it? - In my case, though, I just got a good deal on MMC's backdraft so XTB are too late to the party for me! :-)

It looks great but I've always liked the sleek robot mode of MMC's - reminds me of Actionmaster Inferno only in a good way. XTB seem to have won on vehicle mode, though. And it'd've been nice to get a full length ladder! I'm thinking XTB's Springer might be the winner and therefore my first of their products...

XTB in better built shocker! Im in the same boat, I think the XTB is the better bot but not enough to trade up. The TW one has a real charm that I don't quite get from this one. No bad choices here tho which is nice.

I found your review of this guy to be out of this world. This is one stellar Cosmos. He's a pudgy dude, so I don't mind the junk in his trunk. No anal probing here! Just a solid release from XTB. Seriously, I'm happy you like this guy. He isn't perfect, but man, he's got a lot going for him that negates his flaws, I think. As always, well done.

Thanks for another great review Skull Brother!!! I have the Toy World version the clear plastic one and I really love it. I happen to be a sucker for translucent plastic. However I do admit this overall is probably the slightly better figure but not enough to replace my TW. BTW super props for the Flight Of The Navigator reference. How cool would it be to have a transformer based on that design? Keep up the great work brother...

I'm still on the fence. He looks better than Toy World, but maybe MMC will blow us all away. I like the MMC gimmick of BumbleBee and Blaster controlling Cosmos from the upper deck. I still don't understand why Takara hasn't jumped in yet. Normally when we see more than two 3P companies produce the same character it means Takara's release is around the corner. I couldn't stand the G1 minibot toys of Cosmos and Seaspray. This is a great representation of toon Cosmos and will probably pick it up.

Great review as always, I love your work is extremely informative and for this reason I would like to know your opinion about transformers figures that do not transform more specifically "ThreeA" "G1" optimus figure I want to know what you have to say because I still do not know what to think , from the looks he is cool to me but the fact that he dosen't transform is messing with me, please guide my small brain lol
