Come hang out while I start to reassemble my transmission and come across yet even more broken parts.

Good job, Steve. Gearbox will go together just fine once you get all the parts.

Seems like there is always something extra to order when I get elbows deep too. Ends up being a good excuse though to get something else on my wish list.

Always. That 59¢ part turns into a $75 order real quick.

Steve. You are going to have to put the wooden dummy shaft back in and drop the laygear to the bottom of the box to be able to refit the input shaft.

Yep! I discovered that the hard way.

@@StevesProjectCarGarage Sorry Steve. A bit late to the party. I hadn't realised there was a part four.

Waiting for parts really sucks, especially when they are coming from the UK, it used to take an average of 6 days to the left coast, or longer if parts get stuck in the incredibly slow customs black hole. Now it takes a minimum of 10 days.

Ironically when I order from the UK I get them faster than when ordering from the bug suppliers here in the US.

Tried calling Brooklands British in Tacoma, Washington. The owners name is Matthew. He may have that spring you’re looking for. Mention that Rob sent you or referred you to him.

Thanks! I already got them from Moss. They had them for 59¢ each. So I threw and order of odds and ends together to get free shipping. :-)
