Rob is was my pleasure to send in to the channel, nice job on the review. Appreciate you bringing us along to explore the "pleasures" of our hobby, keep rolling!!
After having three tritium tube watches, I would only get another if it had T100 tubes. Most are T25 tubes. The T100 tubes are much brighter and will last much longer.
I don’t get how nearly every watch review will talk about lume and do a lume shot as most people won’t go from bright sunlight in to total darkness in an instant, if i wear my diver for bed the lume has faded by the time i get to bed so its pointless I have a tritium watch which i do use on a night and the tritium tubes are unbelievable once your eyes have adjusted to the dark the watch actually shines as if its powered by a small L.E.D’s . I wish more manufacturers used tritium tubes Great review as always rob 👍
Yay, finally one of my fav watches on your channel, very cool. They call that finish on the orange P67 their gun-metal finish I believe. I have a regular PVD coated P67 and it is all black. Holds up really well too, I only managed to put a tiny little scratch on it after over a year of daily wear. Mine has white arabics and hands and it is the most legible watch I've ever owned, I simply have never not been able to tell the time under any conditions. Long Island Mark used to sell them but I don't know if he still does, I think so though..? Movement is a Rhonda 715. It's build more for durability then accuracy from what I gather and costs less then 15 bucks. Mine looses about 3 seconds a month or so. I'm glad you like 'm too anyway, cheers!
Me too. I have a P59 Essential Blue. Wearing it on an Engineer Bracelet or black Leather Strap. A Watch i really like to wear. A bit overpriced for the Specs though.
@@Markus__B Yeah, that's true. Not sure if I would have bought it for full retail price to be honest, I got a bit lucky with mine. I traded it for a brand new Seiko Chronograph that I got for just 65 bucks at an ebay auction, so I only have about 75 in it including shipping. Plus whatever I paid for the flat black leather strap I put on it.
I really like this watch, but the deal breaker for me is that the hands look almost the same. Especially at night where the tritium rods don't even fill up the min hand. They should have differentiated this more.
I Love my luminox watch. I see some watches that have T100 tritium my watch has T25. Have you seen any T100 watches like iosbrite? Are they 4X brighter?
No and yes. the "T-Number" refers to the total amount of Tritium contained in the whole Watch. T100 means the entire watch has more than 26 mCi (unit of radioactivity) and less than 100 mCi, while T25 has less than 25 mCi. Watches rated t100 just have more tubes than T25, raising them past the 25 mCi limit. Additionally, T100 doesn't mean the watch has "4x" the amount as T25. They appear brighter simply because theres more of them.
I have a T25 luminox and a T100 Isobright, they are very close to the same brightness. I wouldn’t not buy a watch you really like just because it’s a “T25”. The more tubes the brighter it will be.
Thanks Rob as always Great review. I just picked up a P67..should be delivered next week. I see the P67..has a nato strap..Do you know if that’s the original band.? Thanks.
Hi Rob, My P67 just came in and I love it. I have the unit with the nato strap orange . I wore it to bed and woke up extremely early still dark outside. I was floored by the illumination of the tritium tubes.(sure that’s not the correct spelling) totally awesome. Actually ordered similar watch green version. That will be my Traser set. Thanks again
Traser has abysmal customer service and their watches have fit and finish problems. Bought A Titanium Special Force 100 which had a bad bezel (really hard to turn). Sent it in under warranty and was told sorry, can't fix it but will sell you a new one at a discounted price of $300! F#@k that! Will never buy another Traser product! Marathon or Ball is the way to go for tritium.
Have to be honest. I’m not looking at the military/field watches because I believe the military uses them. I could care less really. I just like the way they look. Particularly the tracer officer in this vid and the new Bertucci A5S
Traser were massive with the British armed forces for years through the 90's and 00’s. They're not as in favour as they once were, but still are popular.
