Tri Fuel Conversion for Generator 

I have the same setup on a Ridgid - All you have to do is turn on the gas....The one mistake I did is not making sure your air filter is connected to the frame or original mount - I left it hanging and it snapped the carb bolts from vibration....Other than that worked like a dream...I also installed interlockkit to my fuse box

Hi and thanks for watching, the conversion kits are model specific but they do make them for many models, The installation instruction are pretty good, and some models may be more difficult to install with that being said a knowledge of basic tools would be required in my opinion. Hope this helps

No, the Gas will not flow if there is no vacuum from the engine. but there are different kits for different engine sizes and they all have certain requirements. Over 12hp you have to use an additional lock-off devices. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.

It had a really neat intake/carb almost looked like a coffee can with bolts around the outside edge. but it was a store bought setup.

Thanks for the informative video. I am considering a conversion for my Generac xg8000 but am concerned about the clearance between the air filter and frame. Can you tell me how many inches the conversion protrudes from original? thanks in advance for the help.

Great video. one question what did you use to seal the adapter in between the carburetor and the air filter?

After Watching the storm do so much damage and leave so many without power I decided see what it would take to run our Generator for a week and was very surprised . First off,You need to change the oil five hours after starting it the fist time ! ( and then every 50 hrs afterward) check the oil every 5 hrs, service the spark plug and replace the air filter after only 100 hrs ,so remember those spare parts and oil ! we will be stocking up at once.

My last fitting was a 1/2" tee pipe thread, if you have a 3/4" hose I think you would have to match the hose fitting and then match it to what ever your gas pipe is. size wise.

also propane never turns into useless goo, and burns way cleaner as well.. good stuff bro Seeya Dude

my old man use to run a full size company truck on propane in the early 90's he worked for amerigas.

I have just installed one but am having problems with the adjustments. It keeps deiseling and I must keep the purge valve depressed.m It will not idle up
