Although some might be disappointed it’s not more experimental with the story they know for the bulk of the adventure, Square Enix managed to keep me guessing and leaves the story on a note that had me begging to learn more. True, many open zone tasks feel like filler and not all the mini-games are winners, but Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is still an immensely strong middle chapter in one of gaming's most precious JRPG sagas.

I personally feel they should release the last part of the trilogy in 2027 while have Final Fantasy XVII close current gen consoles in 2028.

@@takerweapon1 square should just wrap up the franchise after ff7 part 3. all other ff games havent been good in the past 20 years outside of ff7. its time for square to drop enix and for squaresoft to get back into original IP ideas like chrono trigger etc
