I changed the suspension on my Speed Twin at the beginning of last summer. It was either this or sell it as the standard kit is absolutely appalling. I was shortly to go on a trip through the Pyrenees and I knew I wouldn’t last if I didn’t do something. I have quality suspension on my other bikes and it has made a world of difference. YSS come highly recommended as a ‘mid range’ product and I wasn’t prepared to spend £1k plus so these fully adjustable items at £600 were my compromise. K-Tec and Nitron are available at around the same price but only have rebound and preload adjustability unless you stump up the big bucks. I wanted fully adjustable so these were my best option. Since the video I’ve put about 3.5k miles on them and I’ve been very happy. They’ve made the difference between keeping or selling the bike. I’d buy YSS again and would recommend them.
