As a South African I'm admiring our traditional dance, our ancestors have always known how to keep their bodies in good condition. Only now we call it aerobics but we've always danced like this
This guy classes are underrated , look at he's students ,results results results ! Plus the evidence of success is having people tryna pull u down . keep it up G ,hope this goes world wide
One of the most difficult exercises to do. I love the unity of the participants, it is very heartwarming to see, the traditional musical background is so fitting for this pace. ❤❤❤❤❤
Everytime I watch it over and over I wish I could. When I first joined the Air Force we did something similar called the frog walk. Trust me it's not for the weak.
When I was playing college ball if our coach caught any LBs playing too high on any single play we had to duck walk all the way to the weight room on Monday, mind you it was probably about 1500 feet from our meeting room and Monday was always leg day
He is the problem. He's either gay and that's why he wears those tight @ss leggings over that toned up woman bottom. Because I can't see straight men wearing that type of ish knowing he's straight. So he's gotta be gay.
It's virtually a case of being 'born with a whistle in the mouth' and a feature of most traditional dances in South Africa. This genre is called maskandi...
Bringing old school back aaaayyee that was the dances our ancestors dances now it’s Excercise that’s why we built like that thanks for reminding the world
I used to walk like that but now, I'll be adding squats as well. Thank you for sharing ❤️.... this is not an easy exercise by the way. Knees are on fire 😭😂
This exercise definitely get your heart rate up! My knees be screaming "Get off of me," so I do about 5 bounces and stop. I stand up, do a hard blow because I'm tired...then I get back down and do it again! IT AIN'T FOR THE WEAK...TRUST ME I KNOW MY KNEES BE SQUEAKING...CREAK... CREAK
I'm give it to that brother showing his people how to stay healthy in my body and soul spirit that's what keeps Us balance it's beautiful to unite in a uplifting healthy way thank you bro
We are at war and under attack on so many levels. Respect to those who are keeping their minds and body's in great shape. The self is the most prized possession we have. Love it, care it, develop it and the battle will be won...
Can this be as BEAUTIFUL in person as it is on this video⁉️ It’s as if the symmetry is energy for everyone, together! I’ve just had my 3rd back surgery in 3 years 2021, 2022, & 2023! I love to exercise & am making progress in Physical Therapy. One day, I will be strong enough to do this 💪🏽💪🏽 In the meantime, I’ll watch & learn from these outstanding vids. STAY UP & STRONG 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽💪🏽💪🏽🤩☀️
I love everything about this. The community is energy. I’ve been actually trying this. Update: Legs and Glutes are on Fire! It took me a while to walk down my stairs today😊 definitely worth it.
@@1browngirl29 I’m wishing you the best 😄 It took 3 days for me to be able to try this again- I hadn’t done squats in 3 months. My goal is to get this down.
I did this two days in a row. 5 minutes at a time. WOW!!! Today I was running after my daycare kids for a game and I could barely run. When the kids sat on my lap...OUCH!!!!
@@linegrant4605 I do pulse squats with like a 25:pound brick across my shoulders to warm my legs up then do like 250 squats loosely. But y'all be getting it in I love it as a community.
Stopped gym for a while so am doing this instead need that coveted glutes and toned legs still thanks for the motivation doing this to the whistle thru the pain
Ummm as a former personal trainer it looks cool and all but sorry if you do those way too much that is bad for the ligaments in the knees. The ligaments is not meant to stay in that flexed position for long periods like that....the 90 or 70 degree angle properly recruits the glutes, hamstrings as counter force, core, calves etc. This position all your weight coming down on knees. I guess it would be ok to actually do these with just a few moderate sets to strengthen the ligaments, but it seems like he making a obsession out of this exercise
Oh please man stop lying...these people been doin this for years and they doing just fine...You just mad that's all...The guy is also a qualified Physio so he knows exactly what he's doing...Your ignorant low budget opinion is noted
We were once made to frog walk as a punishment by our biology teacher. I will NEVER forget the impact of that punishment on our thighs😂😂😂. We feared that man instantly and nobody dared to ever misbehave in class. That said, I can not do this voluntarily 😅😅😅. Watching this video took me to the afternoon where my class was made to frog walk holding our ears. It was in the year 2000😂
