What up Fable Squad! Twenty One Pilots - Bandito REACTION Fable Instagram: @fablefil INSTAGRAM LINK : / b-cavkyhply #TwentyOnePilots #Bandito #FableReactions
"the softest echo" is us singing back his lyrics to him at shows ♥ we are enough for him to make it through whatever he is going through at the moment.
This song was performed on a b-stage, in the middle of the crowd. They were surrounded with the curtains of lights. Tyler was dancing like possessed during it. Check out the live vid!
ugh yeah this song is so amazing live, my mom didn't think much of it originally (I always liked it) but it became one of her favorites after seeing it in concert lol
I think everyone has their own song before bedtime - this is definitely mine. If i want to come back in Trench world that Tyler created , i need only this one song. more than a year has passed, but still i can find something new in it. the amount of details in this song is just unbelievable. To get more context - between two places is "trench" , this place is located between Dema and freedom (maybe real world). Tyler has stated that “the sound [sahlo folina]” is what the Banditos cry out when they’re in need. And yeah , live version is really into this lights and stuff , with Tyler's dancing moves)
The Echo that he is talking about can also mean us fans singing his lyrics back to him as in "we support you" and the love we give to him and each other helps him "make it thru"
i totally respect your interpretation, I just really want to share another interesting one, because this album has a concept and this track ties a few things together. all of this you can find on Genius, I just chose some interesting parts. “Bandito” is titled after the group of rebels within the dystopian city of Dema, on which most of the album is based (in the lore, banditos usually represent your friends and family, those who are always there for you) The song sees the main character, Clancy, finally begin to accept his role as a part of the Banditos.~ To take the high road is a common expression meaning to be righteous in ones actions. To go low usually refers to taking revenge on those that have wronged you. If the narrator’s enemies represent fear and depression, he may be saying that he will overcome his mental afflictions by any means necessary. The “two places” he refers to are: DEMA, and the outside world beyond that lies beyond Trench (the place in between). ''Folina Sahlo'' is what banditos cry out in Trench when they are in need. And yes, you're correct, the world he's referring to is DEMA (and Trench). Once again, you're obviously free to take it the way you want, just wanted to share this, glad you're enjoying their music :)
Absolutely amazing interpretation video. As a fan of the them for 5+ years and watching all of your reaction videos, you sir are 100% Bandito. Very much enjoying going through this journey with you!
"Either way it helps to hear these words bounce off of you The softest echo could be enough for me to make it through" - Love those lines. And his voice when he sings, hauntingly beautiful.
Even though the words to their music can be about depression or a dark place the beat of the music is uplifting in most of their songs. It always puts me in a good mood.👍
Sound Machine same! Actually I’m sorry, Pantaloon is my least. 🥴 Johnny Boy is just a skip along with half of No Phun Intended. I love like 99% of their stuff though. I hope he sticks to Self Titled, Vessel, Blurryface, Trench And a select few from RAB.
Jolie Bellet have you seen the live performance maybe it might change your opinion on it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zIwkCElu4ck.html
Oli Sykes I hadn’t. Thank you for sharing it because it was old content I hadn’t seen before! I still feel the same way though. Ive just never connected to this song the way I have almost every other one. Don’t know why. This song, Pantaloon and Run and Go just don’t hit me nicely sonically. But like every other song does.
i searched for the word folina it led me to the chemical element Fluorine and it's a gas which is a very pale yellow in it's liquid form Fluorine reacts with chlorine at 225°C to form the interhalogen species ClF. The trifluoride chlorine(III) fluoride is also formed and the reaction does not go to completion. Cl2(g) + F2(g)📷2ClF(g) Cl2(g) + 3F2(g)📷2ClF3(g)Under more forcing conditions, excess fluorine reacts with chlorine at 350°C and 225 atmospheres pressure to form the interhalogen species ClF5. Cl2(g) + 5F2(g)📷2ClF5(g) the atomic number of Fluorine is 9 (9 bishops ) OR it's an anagram of All Ohio Fans OR a cry for help amongsts banditos or... or.. Cucumber. Everything is so cryptic. Tyler's got us all headed down this rabbit hole. It's amazing to think they aren't just making albums and singing/performing at face value. There's such a world he's built and so many characters and meanings to so many different things. Dumbfounding.
ZK2006, I think it’s more simple, yet still fun. I figured out at a young age that if I said Day Pootsma and played it backwards, it sounded like “I’m stupid”...Of course Tyler found something less useless and figured out how to say “I need your voice” backwards. It’s not his voice reversed, it’s simply him approximating the phonetics of the reversed sound. You know, cuz banditos need to be able to send secret messages.
@@nateburk8952 But, what if it isn't so simple. What if tyler truly is a genius and has gone to great lengths to create something so immensely complex? Either way, it's amazing and I cannot express how much gratitude i have for TØP and how they have pulled me through several dark times.
ZK2006, we all know Tyler is a genius. The name of the band, the themes, the costumes, the album art, colors of hair/confetti/etc, the band symbol, dubbing the fans “The Skeleton Clique”, the “Ø” they use, Nicolas (Nico) Bourbaki, Dema, the Tower of Silence, the “Trench” that the remaining bones that the sun, vultures, and other scavengers picked clean would be placed in...it’s literally all intentional. Not saying your Chemistry theory is incorrect...just that “I need your voice” said backwards makes a ton of sense in context.
@@nateburk8952 Id just copy/pasted that.. just felt there's an awful lot of coincidences and such that link all these things together in some form or fashion. It's great!
@@traktician Oh mannnn, if "Addict With a Pen" hit hard, "Leave the City" will be tough. It's beautiful, but will grab ahold of your emotions and not let go! Approach with caution! 🙃🖤
Leave The City is amazing live.. the crowd does most of the singing. Tyler's just there for emotional support. ;) He gets super emotional in some of the recordings. It's all mutual. Grade A, I tell ya. W00!
@@ZK2006 wow that sounds really pure. im yet to experience everything live. kinda impossible right now given the state of the world but i hope the bandito tour gets a southeast asia leg before we go to the next era. the closest i can be to them peforming live is through everyone's live recordings. but even through that, the emotion is unreal. LTC is my baby. made me weep the first time i heard it.
This song seriously feels like it was made in a different universe. When I heard it for the first time I closed my eyes the entire time and when it ended I paused the album and just sat there for a second. It was one of the craziest experiences music wise I've had in a long time. I saw that you have Leave The City on the list and Jesus, one of their best closers to an album and honeslty one of my favorite closers to an album leriod besides Hurt by NIN. It just, encapsulates the entire album and hurts so damn much. The last note of Leave The City actually is the last note of their song Truce which is their closer for Vessel. When I heard it I instantly knew since its one of my fave songs from them. It was like you finally felt closure from his pain in some way.
I've been watching your reactions for 2 hours now, when I started watching you had 11, 2 K subscribeers and now you have 11,4 K. I'm impressed, buts it's so deserved, your reactions are all amazing
my favorite song! thank you for the reaction! I went to their concert and was standing in front of the b stage just to see this song live close enough (I could stand in the front row at the main stage but I chose not to). it was an unbelievable experience
I stood at the area back far enough in the crowd that it starts to thin out, so I was a little closer to B stage but still not all the way in the back for either stage.
Cucumber brother! Another great reaction. This song reminds me of Fleetwood Mac, incredible! Attending TOP’s concerts is like an out of body experience. They literally do not have a bad song!
In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful songs they’ve made. And you were right with the live show-it’s absolutely even more breathtaking. In the earlier fall shows of the Bandito Tour in 2018 they were on B Stage and had holographic visuals (I have a video of it on my channel if you wanted to check it out it’s so cool), and even after they took them out it was still absolutely incredible. Everyone just watches in awe.
Cucumber! There is a theory (which I like) that Trench (the album) is Tyler wondering what a world would be like if god didn't exist. In this god-less world he relies on his family, friends, and fans to get him through. I like to think that Trench (the album) is a glimpse into Tyler's brain, and there is a compartment in his brain where the city of Dema is, and a compartment where the Bandito camp is, and each of his insecurities or tormentors is a Bishop, and Trench (the landscape of this world) is the neuro pathways of the brain and he now knows how to navigate those pathways (knows not to stay in Dema too long, knows how to get to his Banditos, etc.) There's an interactive music video/VR type thingy for Bandito on Spotify. Not sure it still exists, but it starts you in Dema, and as you escape, you're followed by a Bishop, and there are hidden items to find and collect, and at the end, like the end of the song, you are free of Dema and the Trench. Cucumber
As others mentioned it was amazing live. Fortunate to have gone to 3 Bandito Tour shows on each North American leg. During this portion on B stage he actually instructs the audience to sit for 3 songs and yes we all used our lights! Some of us held yellow paper that was handed out by the clique over the flashlight to make our lights yellow instead of white. It was awesome. Tyler’s dancing when the beat drops is the best. Then we all stood up when Pet Cheetah came on. Bandito is one of my favorites.
I honestly love Bandito so much, so I was so sad when they didn't play it on the Australian leg of the tour :( But we did get the judge, taxi cab and can't help falling in love which most of Europe didn't get. they did get chlorine and then, later on, the US got all of the trench songs, so to summarise, after coronavirus, I need to see twenty one pilots again haha
These words bounce off of you: him singing this to the Banditos (clique, fans). This song is another great one live and part of the reason(I believe) it doesn’t have a video, like Hometown, is because it doesn’t need one. It speaks to us. We are his energy and he is ours
trench is the in between place, the bishops create the neon if you remember the nico and the niners video, the echo part to me hes talking about his music to fans, sahlo falino is an anagram all ohio fans ive heard
@@dawsonsschittcreek5395 according to Google translate it means open folders. Interestingly, even though Tyler confirmed the spelling on Twitter, if you play around with spelling sahlo falina says 'facilitate action.' and sahlo falino means make it easy to do.
Thank you for doing this reaction, as it has made me realize a different meaning than I had originally thought. I think the high road is listening to the mainstream about creating music for the masses, but he is going low, or following his own creativity, he is a bandito in his own industry. I saw them in June 2019 most recently, and Bandito was actually performed on a B stage with these incredible lights. It was extremely moving, intimate, and he actually asked the arena to sit down. It was almost transcendent. You should watch Trench concert footage, if you haven't already. Pet Cheetah on the bridge was a good time!
This Song's Angelic!! I saw them in a Video on RU-vid playing it Live at Mohegan Sun Arena here in Connecticut in October of 2019 & it was beautiful the way they had these string lights surrounding them as they were playing it, just breathtaking. To think this was only 45 minutes away from my House! I wasn't down the TØP Rabbit Hole yet. Loved your Reaction, as always! Much Love to you! 👊💜
Lyrics are so painful yet powerful, close relative to truth. Either way, it helps to hear these words bounce off of you The softest echo could be enough for me to make it through.
The instrumental pace of this song goes well with this song. It really goes well with the title of this song, where it transition from the slow pace beat to a more fast pace one, the climax(where i imagine a movie about a bandito trying to escape). The instrumental beats tells a story as well, beautifully made.
I've been a fan since 2015 maybe 2017, but these boys have been a massive impact on my life, I love them to death and I've been a very long dedicated fan so I know a fellow bandito and fren (you fable) and I really love your reactions to their amazing and beautiful music, when you listen to them it is art in the highest regard, welcome to our fanbase.
Oh my god I have been so patiently waiting for this song to come along just because I knew what it would do to you😊 you are correct there are no words... other than cucumber that is 😆😚 and the drums from Josh always exceptional but extra special on this track....
Holy shit you already know. Theirs no one like Tyler he’s well a cucumber I guess. I listen to these guys all day so much emotions . They are better than any drug
Hey, man. Great reaction as always :) I would suggest you look up the ''Bandito experience''. It doesn't have to be a reaction video, rather something that you experience for yourself. it takes you into the world of Trench and makes you feel more connected to the guys.
I take that to mean DEMA is a cold, lifeless city where there is no God, your anxieties and struggles and temptations (bishops of blurryface) control you. you worship concepts like fame and success and ultimately neon gravestones (vialism). It's dark and scary and hopeless... DEMA is a lot like our culture, molding our brains to secular nihilism and keeping us conformed. Trench is your spiritual journey to look for something more... to find a escape, to find hope, perhaps even God.
At the concert, they're on a dark isolated stage in the center of us and its encased in a cage of lights, its beautiful. He does his little swagger dance most of the time. It's a magical moment. And yes, everyone has their lights on their phones, lol.
Banditos in this context means bandits, rebels. As we the banditos rebel against the bishops of dema who try to trap us in their ways. We rebel and try to escape to trench, a stop off on the way to freedom
Would you ever consider doing a livestream of one of their longer videos like the TOP/mutemath sessions or the Tyler Joseph Songwriter sessions? That would be awesome!
I remember watching a clip in a compilation video of an ok interview where Tyler was asked how he would describe their music. He said(I cant remember word for word so please correct me if I'm wrong!) "Everything you've ever wanted to hear" something like that, but YESSSS. He is what's been missing in my life.
You do realize that Tyler took us on a journey with him and that's how you know he's won the battle...we win together ❤️ because in the end we will all be together forever!
Idk if anyone told you that but "sahlo folina" it's like the call of help of the banditos, so if a bandito says sahlo folina he's calling the other banditos to help him
If you want a nice song to listen to by yourself late in the evening, before bed. Try out the instrumental version of this song. It's amazing all by itself at a purely sonic level. Another one that comes close is the Car Radio instrumental.
For anyone who needs a smile today, incredibly difficult not to smile when hearing this laugh from a much younger Tyler. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iLBpG3rX9po.html
Another great reaction! There are only a few of you that really dive into the music. People complain you keep stopping...I mean they obviously can watch it on their own lol.
Trench is a full album experience. Once you done all the reactions to the rest of the song from Trench just sit down and listen the whole album. It's an other level. Love your reactions, I happy you hopped on this TOP train and you just enjoy it from the first class 😎
