TM Squared Twisted Messes RDA V2
TLDW: Certainly not a perfect atomizer, but it's a great step forward for the Twisted Messes RDA. Everything is improved. Fit and finish is better, o-rings are better, airflow is better and the build deck is better.
The airflow holes are set up a touch higher to help prevent leaking from overdripping, and I don't get any whistling through the airflow like I thought I would.
Overall a very solid RDA from Twisted Messes
[TM squared VD TM V1 Compatibility notes]
The V1 top cap will fit the V2 base
The V2 top cap will fit on the V1 base, but not well
The Top threads are identical
The V1 AFC ring, will not fit on the V2 and vice versa

I wanted this Rda so bad, and got it for my birthday. I made good money back then, but had a terrible heroin habit that took all My money. My ole lady bought it for me. These videos put in perspective how long I’ve been sober seeing their upload dates.

I have two of the original TMs and a total of 4 additional decks. Changing decks is a really cool feature especially at $20 ea. I really like TMs products. I'll be saving up for the Squared version for some building variety. I'm hoping to have their 150 TC mod in hand in the next couple days. I believe their 150 TC is well thought out too. Good review Nick.

I have zero problem with the version 1... In fact it's my favorite RDA and I own quite a few. Since I bought it and used it for the past 3 months or so, the o rings have become just perfect and I don't even view the thing as being too loose anymore, actually I had forgot that it was an issue originally lol...I love mine and I use it daily over any other RDA I have, the grub screws in my opinion are far superior than both flat and Philips screws, good video

I dented my top cap for my TM and now it is very tight fitting. It was an accident. I am happier with the new fit.

The only thing worse than an allen key, is those "little blue hex-drivers" that they include with some RDA's out there. I used the one that came with my Sapor RDA the first few times I built it and right away the head gnarled up, sticking in the grub screws, and I knew they would start striping them out if I kept using it. So I immediately dug through my one of my bit sets, found a hex bit that fit, and have been using it for several months with no issues at all. So way to go Kent for including a really nice bit for those screws, that's great forethought towards the customer. Also love that post design. As someone who always does centered builds, that would make things so much easier!

+Sean Corcoran i been using the we blue hex driver that cae with the coil master v3 jig its the best quality 1.5mm hex i have used never sticks works great - i have a full long are short arm hex key set aswell that is great

it would be super rad if you went more into the outer third when doing cloud shots so we can see the full body of your clouds bro.. now i don't know if this is something that a lot of people would enjoy but, I, personally would very much like to see it. who knows, you may be doing it that way for some unknown reason unbeknownst to all of us here in the youtube land vape viewer community. anyway, i got the praxis and its pretty badass so thanks for doing the review on that. you da man, PEACE

I love it! and really was going to hit that link to purchase it... But 70$ is just high for these little atty's.... This is why I still don't own a Dot mod or Tug boat atty... I just know I can get so much more for my money if I'm going to spend 100$ or even 70$.... If it was 50$... I would still be feeling like I'm spending to much, but I could definitely pull the trigger if it was 20$ cheaper....

GrimmGreen, Have you tried using a torx bit for your allen head grub screws? a properly fitting torx bit will grab the screws only by the corners, so it is very difficult to strip the screw heads.

i cut the plactic tip on my v1, it is way too tall. took a serrated blade to just above the last little line in it and sanded it a bit. much better now

I've got the original and have to say the grub screws are mega on that too. They use a 1.5mm socket/wrench same as this new one and I have been using a hex bit for my screw driver set. Never even come close to stripping as ALL my other attys have. It would cost penny's for some of these companies to give us decent grub screws.

Another Hex/Allen/Grub comment: It's good this comes with a solid Hex driver. And no, the problem with them stripping isn't just the driver, it's the hex screws. Most hex screws (grub screws, whatever you want to call them) are made of soft metal and strip when using a decent quality driver. Having a driver designed for a specific screw should work well without stripping if the tolerances are good, which seems to be from what I've seen so far... I need to pick one of these up.

For those of you with RDAs that use grub screws 95% of the problem is actually from the included hex key not the grub nuts themselves. The hex key is made out of a soft material. The skipping inside of the grub nut is actually from the hex key rounding off. I recently bought a carbide steel hex key that fits my grub screws and the grub screws that I thought were stripped are actually not. This hex key cost me $1.85! It's much easier to find a carbide hex key that fits your grub screws than actually finding new grub screws.

+GrimmGreen it bears mentioning(and I don't know if it has been) that the old top cap will work on the new base, and the old top will screw on to the new barrel, it's all interchangable. I think this is an awesome feature and I use the new barrel, old top, and new base.

Hey Nick, have you gotten a chance at trying out the new Tugboat 24mm yet? Ended up getting mine from the pre-order. It's actually pretty good. Kennedy style airflow with velocity style deck, holds about 3ml's of juice.

Everyone! I just found out that if you make a little gap in between the wick and the top part of the inside of your coils with a tiny screwdriver you will get a lot more flavor. It will chuck the vapor not only from around the coil but through the small gaps as well. Just thought that this was something interesting to share and see what results everyone is getting.

Got mine today and the airflow ring on mine is definitely loose. The airflow holes on the black ring don't seem to line up perfectly as well. I guess I should have started by saying I really like this RDA. It looks bad ass and it's easy to build on. Just wanted to say that the airflow ring on mine (both) are still pretty loose. Although you can tighten it down and it stays secure.

That is absolutely great I feel better now, I ordered the TM2 the day it came out I wanted to wait for this review but I said fk it, I like the v1 how bad can the v2 be. Good bottom orings, better tolerances on that afc ring those 2 things bothered me on the v1 but not enough not to enjoy it. That little key it is a plus but not necessary if you got a Wiha torx and allen set screwdriver very high quality sets that wont mess up your screws. Ginger Oilman took my money Vape capitol!!!!

Juice it before you wick it, sure you can but I suggest you lick it before you stick it. ice Review Nick, A quick suggestion put one or two wraps of floss underneath any O-rings that are not snug works great to tighten up top caps, barrels and drip tips. I always wanted a TM and the TM2 looks like it a few good points added to go pick one up now. Its cool Kent added the allen drill bit and I like the way he did the two post different than everyone else, it gives you the deck some more juice room without being as tall as the "V" deck. I think a 3 post/4 post hole is easier to build and center two coils, with the 2 post velocity style if your coil isn't wide as the post your left bending both coil leads outward or putting a bind on the coil. Also I was getting tired of everyweek seeing every new atty changed to, added to or improved with a Velocity deck. Don't get me wrong I like the Velocity style post for my wide ass parallel builds.

so the twisted messes first version was my favorite RDA!!!!! Hell what am I talking bout it still is my favorite 22mm dripper! I have the black and gold version of it with the gold plated positive post so before I spend the money on the twisted messes squared is he already designing the upgrade that I should wait on first before I drop the cash??¿?

GrimmGreen, what is the air flow like in dual mode closed off as much as you can when compared to the flavor cap on your recoil?!! Seems like it would be more, is it more then the clouds cap?!
