Omg!! That’s so cool I did it with out green screen I had to film myself one at a time and mask everything on post through fcpx

Cool! I actually was going to do a clone effect for the introduction for "version 2" of an app. Got lazy and dumped the plan. Maybe next time! That said, I was going to do the whole thing with green screen.

Go for it Don.. Just make sure you have the right back ground... Find it easier than green screen which can be a faff with lights and if you move around too much trying to key later.

Brilliant! A similar technique (masking) is used in the effect where one scene transitions seamlessly into another, usual via some vertical line like a tree or a wall. The movie 1917 uses this technique to unbelievably good effect.

Ikopta . Adobe Photoshop, takes time but it give a good result for what I need. Still trying to get better with my video editing. Thanks again for all the videos.

Nicely done, I like using that opacity tool myself for ghosting shots. I definitely need to start editing on a computer, I've been using my mobile since I started RU-vid.

Hi Dylan. #Mail Ive seen some pretty awesome videos of of 360 cameras being mounted to Mavic drones and some of the results look amazing. You can buy third party mounts to attach them but im assuming that mounting one to a drone would potentially void the warranty as well as potentially voiding my drone insurance as well. What do you think? Also have you used 360 cameras before and if so is it a nightmare to integrate the footage into regular editing software. Thanks again for your videos they are great entertainment especially in this time if lockdown. Tom

Drone Film Guide did a video a few months back on filming 360 footage with a Mavic. Stunning footage. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0jspX07c5-Y.html . I think they used the camera's own app but Adobe PP also has suite of tools for, as they call it, 'VR'.

Can't answer about drone warranty or insurance, but 360° editing is fun. Most decent editing programs now include 360° features. But, if not, Insta360 cameras come with their own editing software. You can export mpeg files from there to insert into your regular editing software. I use a cheap Insta360 ONE on my model sailboat. With a fixed GoPro I always had to bring the boat back to shore every time to reposition and re-aim the camera to get different views. But the 360 camera is constantly recording everything in a 360° spherical view. In editing you can later choose the zoom level and which portion of that sphere the camera is "looking" at.
