Understanding INTJ and ISTP Friendships

Thing about INTJ's is that their emotionality isn't expressed in the ways people usually expect, which is outward. INTJ's emotionality mostly expresses itself in deeply held values and principles and are usually able to read other peoples emotions but aren't very emotionally expressive themselves. This is because of tertiary Fi, and it not being in the primary or secondary slot. In everyday life the INTJ and the ISTP actually look quite alike when expressing emotions, by... not doing it often. Both are very businesslike in their communication when something needs to get done. When working together an INTJ's Te is mostly going to run the show, not their feeling function. An INTJ's is not going to discuss feelings with an ISTP... INTJ's emotions are internal and processed internally. An ISTP therefore isn't going to get an INTJ's feelings hurt because INTJ's are notoriously hard to offend. ISTP's don't have any feeling functions in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd slot and need to focus on real experiences and logic to drive their ambitions. This is the important difference. I feel like where the conflicts can really arise is when the INTJ from their Fi (and partly Ni) want things to be done a certain way and struggle to explain to ISTP's why, in a logical way. Because Fi and Ni aren't logical. This is not good enough for the ISTP, who needs real and tangible evidence and things.

Very accurate for both types and helpful insight. INTJ♀️ & ISTP ♂️ relationship. Some stuff my boyfriend does annoys me, but this video gave me some reassurance. Our morals and values align, but our styles of how things are done definitely differ. How much we see each other, text, communicate "feelings", what we see in situations (i have whole list and he brings me back down to earth with thr solid facts).

im an ISTP and my twin brother is an INTJ and we both have a good relationship 😅

When I go on a trip, I tend to prepare in advance. I went on a trip with a friend who had a different personality from me, and we had different opinions and a conflict arose. In my opinion, we should travel with friends who have compatible personalities. INTJ type people seem to be more planned, strict, and demanding than other people. This video is interesting.
