Southampton Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K was my first stab at 13.1 miles (21.1km) in over 3 years. Based on current fitness, I wanted to try to get close to 1 hour 30 minutes for the distance. But knowing the hills that arrive in the later stages of the Southampton course, would I be able to hold onto a 90 minute target pace?
One of the most extraordinary elements, was meeting so many of you out there, as well as having the first JOG ON meet up before the race start, making it an unforgettable day.
