Looking at that pace I'm thinking I too 'might' have broke the 30min barrier this morning. I'll never know as my stopwatch paused on 5sec 😮. I did run without stopping though which was an achievement itself 👍
Geez, preppin‘ for my first HM,got chills watching your video! Glad your ok, mate, that was a tough one!🙏Best of luck to the next one🏃stay safe tho.. Props to Louise and Mark, such legends!👏
Very inspiring story. A year ago I was 96 kg and decided to lose weight after my son was born, I’m 80 kg now and really loving the running. Training for a half marathon in 5 months and can’t wait! Well done, Sonny.
Herculean effort Harry. Heat stroke should be taken seriously, by the looks of it they were also treating you for hyponatremia (lack of Sodium in the blood).
Hi Harry we did this on Saturday in Leeds. Thank you for making this video it really helped persuade my kids that it would be a fun thing to do. And it was! ❤
Hi Mr Harry Morgan. I tried to beat your 10km pb on 15th feb 2024 but fell short with a time of 37:08. Yesterday 30 June 2024 I went out again and set my PB at 36:53. 1st 5km split = 17:31 and 2nd 5km split = 19:15. I was fading after the 1st 5km, but just kept willing myself to keep holding on. I think, the fact that you ran a negative split 10km, you could possibly go sub 36min next time you decide to do a 10km fullsend. Not that you care but yeah, Mr Harry there it is time to beat if you will (10km = 36min:53). My next goal is now on the HM. You did a 1hr:23min PB, so I will try and get it on 15 Sept 2024. My HM PB is currently 1:26min. Hope to see you attempt more PB's for 10km and HM. My age is 39yrs. I think I am older than you? Started running at 36yrs. Cheers sir..
Pause the video around 15:01 to 15:02 and you can see... The body is there but the mind has shut off :D 100% effort! Great stuff! edit: ok, the stills a few seconds further on are even more dramatic!
Nearly as fast as a small tricycle being pedalled with the enthusiasm of a person who just saw an ice cream van and they have a discount on double scoop with a flake
I did this, but in 3 hrs 25 minutes, that was because a couple of miles in my left shoe started to fall apart, so I have to tie my laces round the bottom and the top to hold it all together. I still made it to the finish line
As a beginner it's a struggle for me as my shin hurts from maybe being a flat footed. Bought a nice running shoes, strengthen my arch. After 2 months of training and exercising I'm finally able to reach 5k but only 37 minutes. Before I can't even run 1 minute straight non stop. But now my goal is sub 30..
The jog father 🤣🤣 great video ( again ) im watching this on one of the hottest days of the year 24:96:24 and hydrating before my daily run. Always find your videos inspiring 🏃♂️🏃♂️
i thought i was the only one who forgets after a hard effort. I remember i had a regional XC meet and i do not remember the last 200m of my 5k but i still PB with a 16:03 and i remember waking up on the ground and peeing myself lol
Well done Harry half marathon ain't an easy feat. As a former career serviceman we have a half marathon league, however its on a cross country route and over a tank sandy/muddy training area. It was absolutely hard as nails, specially in the winter, my fastest was around your time, about 1:23. Keep at it mate and well done.
I signed up for the Bath Half last week as my first half marathon and now the RU-vid algorithm has fed me this and I’m feeling slightly more terrified 😅 Great video. Easy subscribe!
Just watched it and thanks for the motivation it now i have to lose some more Weight than i will start my training atm at 115 KG started 3 months ago with 143 Kilo will start it fully at about 105 KG in 6-8 Weeks anyway great Dokumentary :D
I ran my first full 5k a month ago, I spent 8 weeks training and it got 33 minutes. The guy who came in first came in just over 15 minutes. He motivated me to get a sub 20 5k and I'm still motivated!
