Been doing this for a long time. It makes for a great practice range. If you want more stability, the metal stakes for campaign signs are useful as well.
Louisiana weather Is right. Thursday morning we left Lovelady Texas at 3:00 am. We were headed to Hackberry Louisiana to Kayak fish for Reds, Flounder and Specs. It rained all day. We caught one Red and a couple of Flounder. Got soaked and kinda was cold. Temp mid 70's and wet all day. Never put the kayaks in the water. Just bank fished. Still, it beat working. We had to go through Chester. That got me thinking about Trad 3D. That is how I found your channel. Looks like I might have to cross the Sabine and get in on some Louisiana Trad 3D. Love your channel and that is a neat target.
Been doing this with springs ( 6in or so) with both ends of the spring straightened out. One end poked into the ground, then for a target on top, been using those little rubber bath ducks
Haha thanks for the shout out Gregory love you man. I actually use the same driveway marker. It you buy the longer one which is only about a dollar more you can cut it in half and have 2. Also.. I have these set up near every target at my range.. most of them are foam blocks like that and some are 3Darchery bottles and I also have your rabbit staked on one of those too! ..I'm totally going to make a bird now thanks for the idea!
I thought you would have a string tied to it and someone pulling the string making a moving target to aim at not just a floppy target that moves when hit it.. pretty lame if you ask me but I do shoot mainly bows with them fancy wheels on them so I prob have 3 heads to you
