Hello. I found you guys on the Internet. I’m a[n] anesthesiologist. I have a question for you. What percentage of those witnesses would take a blood transfusion if it could be absolutely guaranteed where no one will ever find out?
I have had several patients that in the operating room, I asked them before going to sleep if they would receive blood. They have said ‘no blood’ in the presence of family in the preoperative area. However when alone in the operating room with no family members around, they have said that they will, in fact, accept blood in the operating room as long as nobody finds out. This has happened a number of times. A recent case where a woman that I had as a patient almost died until we got her to the operating room and were able to give her blood anonymously.
We’re trying to develop a policy in the hospital somehow to be able to give JWs the option of a truly free decision on whether or not they want to receive blood without the pressure of being in the presence of family and church vampires about.
Any of your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

The fake blood doctrine it's nothing more than the hijacking of the scriptures of the Bible. The Jehovah's witness have a bastardized understanding of the Bible anyway. It is beyond sad that millions of Jehovah's witnesses have died and believing such a lie and they did not have to die. I hope more Jehovah's witnesses will wake up and the cult altogether

We were always told that the work we did was life-saving work. The reality is that applying some critical thinking skills and getting out of the grips of this high control Cult is what will in fact save lives and maybe your own! Great job JT and Lady "C"!

This story is is so relatable for me as my baby too had to have several blood transfusions at birth. I can’t imagine parents that deny their children life saving treatment, how sad! My doctors were willing and ready to take me to court because they were giving my baby blood rather I liked it or not. I’m so thankful for the life saving blood our babies received!

Totally Awake Exjw. Glad that You and your baby is safe and healthy, Felice. I am one of those babies myself. When I started studying with JWs, my Non-JW Mother informed me about my receiving blood at birth. She said that both of us were in danger of dying due to prenatal complications; and so it became necessary to deliver me early(36 weeks) and give us both a Blood Transfusion. I never knew any of that up to the point of my WT Association. That Transfusion and her Father having been a JW decades before, made her aware of just what an insane and deadly Cult Watchtower is. I never told anyone about the blood transfusion while I was In. Glad now. Too bad I didn't trust my mom instead of Watchtower. Would have saved me years of turmoil and given me more better opportunities for my life.

My sister worked as a medical secretary at a hospital in Edmonton in the late 70s to early 80s. The hospital social worker said that the government would take the baby from the mother via court order if life saving medical treatments were not allowed by the JW's. The social worker said when the baby was returned to the mother after the treatments, the mothers always had a look of relief on them from the child surviving.

It'll be 4 weeks tomorrow that I'm in the hospital. I've had to have 2 blood transfusions since being here. My mom is 89 and I'm 59 in 2 weeks but mom is my personal assistant for health care. Thank goodness no one asked her what should be done for me in my situation. At the moments the decisions had to be made, she hadn't arrived yet. She is a diehard JW for 50 years. I faded long ago but she has been pulling on me since my health began failing 20 years ago. I forbid ANY of her JW friends & elders to visit me, but she tells everybody what my situation is. I just thank my God that I can speak for myself at the very moment I need to and my mom or no JW has a say over my life.

You can only let her make decisions IF you’re unconscious. You don’t have to let the doctors give her your medical info. Unless you give consent for that!

When I was 12 years old I rode an Indianapolis city bus to go to an circuit assembly on the south side of town. When I got off of the bus I saw the building where the assembly was being held. Unfortunately I didn't make it. I was struck by a Harley Davidson motorcycle (with a side car, no less). I was knocked unconscious and woke up when I was put into the ambulance. Horrible experience. I drifted in and out of consciousness. I woke up in the operating room, sat up and screamed, I can't have blood, don't give me blood. One of the doctors slapped me and told me to shut up and lay down. I must have been hysterical and in shock, but even so I was indoctrinated enough to tell them this. There I was on the operating table with two bones protruding out of my leg and a broken arm as well. When my mother arrived at the hospital, driven there by a kind "worldly" neighbor, she also advised the doctors that under no circumstances should I receive blood. Fortunately I didn't need blood and came through the surgery. When I think back about it I feel so sorry for that poor little 12 year old girl (me) who was willing to give her life, if need be, for this stupid organization. It makes me angry. On by the way, I was in the hospital for 28 days and not one JW came to visit me. Makes you think, doesn't it?

When I had surgery in 2017, a elder I didn't know showed up. It wasn't emergency surgery. But because we register as a JW with our surgeons and doctors and have our blood cards scanned pre surgery.... This is how the liaison committee or elders know when JW is in the hospital. I'm sure your all aware of that. It's always very organized. But knowing that elders are not Doctors that is scary. Since 2019 there are blood videos shown in the kingdom Hall on what alternatives to take instead of blood. It always bothered me that we getting advice from no doctors, but Jehovah wanted us to do it this way. Was always uncomfortable doctrine or forced teaching.

@@Officialkingz1 Honestly; A lot of Non-JW Window Cleaners, have better and more qualified skills, than the clowns that are given carte blanche to advise, micromanage and Intimidate the JW Patients. If it weren't for Cognative Dissonence, You could actually reason with most JWs about the faulty thinking and dangerousness of allowing these men to have such deep control. "Would Anyone, Willingly, Welcome the Advice or Control of, a Plumber or Domestic Cleaner or Factory Worker in Medical or Legal Matters; If it was not for Indoctrination and Cult Loyalty"?🤔 I know, for myself(Former JW), my Factory Worker Staunch JW Spouse, will NEVER be qualified or allowed to Interfere In or Advise, my Medical Decisions. If I could do the same for others, I would set them straight and assist them against such a fate.

As a hospital employee I personally saw the witnesses call elders to the facility to “get direction”. On one occasion a brother made a call to New York on behalf of his wife! I just smdh when I saw who turned up. Literally lay people with barely an education themselves. 😩

I’m also a nurse and an ex-JW. I used to see the HL elder pacing the halls in the dead of night. Someone from England I posted with on the JW blood issue vigorously denied that the elders even know when a Witness is in the hospital. She said you have to call them. She denied that witnesses come to a JW’s bedside to hold a kind of vigil warding off medical staff who might try to influence the patient to take blood treatments. But I’ve seen this, even looked after an old man who came from a rural town many miles away to have transfusions for his blood disorder. We had to wait until all visitors were gone and gave these treatments after midnight.

All hospital management and clinical wards should be informed about HLCs, how they operate, the coercion exerted on the JW patient, and the punishment the HLC inflicts on that JW patient in the case of non-compliance

ExJW/nurse here. I haven't seen an uptick in secret transfusions per se, but I'd estimate it's been 1/4 1/3 of all JWs ultimately accept blood when it's a matter of life and death. They fall in line for little things, but major trauma or procedures often bring to light that they don't really believe it. Also, from a healthcare worker perspective, we always dial in whenever someone is attempting to speak for the patient. Unfortunately, the medical jargon HLC members are taught sometimes fools providers into thinking they know what they're doing. That's why videos like this are so important to bring to light the attempt of the HLCs to hijack patient's autonomy despite their lies to the contrary. So called „Hospital Liaison Committee“-Members give medical "advice," actually dictate, without being licensed to do so. Simultaneously they threaten their members with eternal annihilation. They blackmail them into deadly decisions. TAKE LEGAL ACTION against all HLC-Members. Make them LEGALLY ACCOUNTABLE/RESPONSIBLE! File a CRIMINAL CHARGE against HLC Members! Don‘t argue, do NOT „discuss“! FILE a CRIMINAL CHARGE against HLC-Member, the legally responsible of your Branch and each of the Governing Body Members.

After I woke up from the cult I want to my gynecologist for a yearly visit. I was beside myself with worry about my Uber JW daughter not taking blood if she needed it during birth. My gynecologist told me she knew if numerous JW women who took blood themselves or gave it to their babies and begged for the doctors not to tell the elders. That gave me a little bit of peace of mind.

Shuanas story took me back to 1993. My wife was 35 and we were expecting our 3rd child, a girl. My wife's water broke prematurely and prompted a visit to the emergency room. We were then told the baby would not make it, subsequently, we agreed to an induced abortion. During the process, the placenta became embedded to the uterus and she hemmoraged as a result. It's called "placenta acreta." I was in the hallway with another member of my congregation. The nurse came out looking shocked, grabbing me by the shoulders, and saying, "your wife will die without a blood transfusion!!" I looked at the "brother" and said, "what do I do??!!" He then said, "you know what Jehovah says on the matter of blood". I accepted his words and our beliefs at the time and refused a transfusion for my wife. She died shortly thereafter. My family was torn apart. My stepson was made to go live with his biological father who was not a JW. I raised my other son who was 2 yrs old at the time, for 8 years on my own until I remarried. I no longer believe in the changing doctrines of the JW organization. My son grew up knowing he was Gay at a very young age, which made it difficult for him to make any friends in JW org. I love him dearly, and have always let him know that. It's difficult for me to talk about this to this very day, but perhaps it will help someone to make a life saving decision based on sound medical advice, and not on the changing doctrines of men.

I look back now when I had a six way heart bypass (CABG). The doctor gave my family the odds of me living at 1-2% without a transfusion. At that point in time I was a good little JW and refused all blood transfusions. If I only knew now what I didn’t know then the organization almost cost me my life. How many people have died because of the wishy-washy changing beliefs of this cult?

As an RN I have seen many witnesses sign the blood consent after their family leaves the room. I can only recall one young lady who refused and later died. Her husband never left her side. I think if he had gone home she would agreed to the transfusion.

This is an amazing story to watch. We created out of nothing the idea of not taking a blood transfusion. I remember giving the talk that gave the congregation the freedom to start using blood fractions. The very next day going to the hospital with the new blood cards for a sister in the hospital freeing her to use fractions. I thought to myself what a difference a day makes. I have come to realize this is for us a way to become a martyr. There was always someone appearing out of nowhere making the position know the hospital they didn't want blood, we would visit them to find out they were some long time fallen away Witness wanting to take a stand, expecting a resurrection.

back in 2017 my hemglobin dipped to 2.9(12-13 is normal)i was a death's door and i had been disfellowshipped for 10 yrs but still a believer...i refused blood and i did make a recovery i woke up in june 2019 and was rushed into emergency surgery 1 month later, i accepted a transfusion after my surgery...to think i was willing to refuse blood in a disfellowshipped state, we are so brainwashed

I served 23 years as a fire fighter EMT. You see and witness many odd things in such a career. Once as a captain I was sent to a house on a routine sick call. It was a young lady and a young man waiting for us. The young lady had a miscarriage and had left the hospital. Her bleeding would not stop. I checked her blood pressure it was extremely low. I called for an emergency ambulance and said manner of factly " mam you need a blood transfusion" the young lady and her boyfriend said " simultaneously we are JW we do not take blood transfusions". The advanced life support crew took her back to the hospital emergency. I left the run, finished my shift and returned the next day to the tell of a beautiful young woman they took to three hospitals who eventually postured and died on the last trip. Her state of unconsciousness rendered her unable to make her own medical decisions so her grandparents gave permission for a transfusion. Her boyfriend was not involved in the process. The effort was too late. She died in her early twenties. If the JH community is doing this . I applaud the effort. The Bible they refer to regarding blood regards the kosher slaughter of animals which they do not adhere to anyway. This young couple were living together in sin, yet she lost her life because a blood transfusion was a pathway out of God's grace.

This story was fantastic and I'm so glad this little girl lived.... I was pimo when I faced the blood issue at the beginning of this yr..... I did my research and despite the elders trying to Infiltrate my hospital appointments, they even did a local needs talk on the blood.. I spoke to my consultant and told them under no circumstances were they to allow the HLC In to see me. The consultant was amazing and fully supported me, I didn't need blood, but if I had then they knew what to do.... im now pomo.

I used to see the liaison elder in the corridors late at night when I worked in our local hospital. He was there to make sure no medical person tried to influence a JW patient to take blood treatments.The doctors had no use for these uneducated nitwits. I also saw Witnesses come to visit a congregation member and act as if a brace of evil nurses was waiting in a hall closet somewhere all ready to grab the witness and force a transfusion! They were suspicious about our actions at the bedside and very suspicious about being asked to wait in the hall if we had to do personal care. Never saw one of them smile and act normal, not even to say hello to the nurse looking after their relative or friend.

I’m a nurse, I remember giving an active JW a blood transfusion ( we had a long and productive conversation about that transfusion) 😂. His rl sister and JW called me asking several questions in a very aggressive manner. I refused to answer her questions in a very assertive manner. I asked him if it was ok to talk to her, he became extremely upset and told me to never talk to her about his information. I told him not to worry about that, let’s just say she never called during my shift again. I see this ALL the time unfortunately. I see the fear and added frustrations regarding decisions on their own health. Most don’t even know I’m a faded JW. smh

When I was hospitalized I was offered a transfusion and it could be done with out anyone knowing, but I decided. I didn't care. Best thing I ever did, that was seven yrs ago.

Thanks for sharing! My JW mother worked as a lab technician and used to tell the story of a doctor who had signed a refusal of a blood transfusion for a relative: I saw it as proof that blood transfusions were dangerous and did not save lives. I even defended the position of Jehovah's Witnesses in front of hundreds of people in a philosophy class talking about the right to self-determination... the reality is that I had no idea what I was talking about. I’m so bewildered when I hear these stories and I am thankful that I am no longer a JW and that I am able to make my own decisions in life-threatening situations. When you do research, you realise how this organisation influenced our thinking. Why should one not try to do whatever it takes to save one's life?

Most doctors will not make decisions for a hospitalized relative . In some cases it’s illegal. . If you don’t want the HLC to have your medical information they CANNOT have it . HIPAA laws apply in the USA .

I felt this! My baby was also a preemie and needed a blood transfusion--there was never a question in my mind about giving her the blood. So glad the doctor knew what was going on and that you were open to receiving the care.

This so reminds me of the Alternative Service when Watchtower decided that after so many lost freedom on behalf of this bible teaching. I'm so sorry for anyone who's lost family or friends listening to the Watchtower not taking transfusion.

Great Show as Usual... The blood transfusion doctrine was the #1 thing that woke me up....Im based in Cali....had a couple of blood transfusions type of situations... had a medical procedure done that could potentially require the use of a blood Trans ... In my indoctrinated Haze ... i said to my doctor ..."im a JW and we dont do blood transfusions... The Doctor said really.. well your a rare case... I said you've had other JW patients ...He said Sure have...I asked ....."What percentage of Jw's take the Blood Transfusions?" ... He said about 95 percent especially if its life or death type of situation..... Me and My Wifes mouth hit the floor!!! ...I was expecting 25 maybe 30 percent wavered...LoL ... This is a Cedar Sinai Doctor saying this ..which is a well known Doctor and Hospital that i go to .....Then ive noticed a pattern of the Org. backsliding from their Original stance with the doctrine over the decades... I started to wake up ...it made me research more and more on the Org...Then i had a major blood doctrine issue concerning my son's delivery at birth ...The blood liason committee will walk you up the point of taking a stand ...but then afterwards will Wash their hands of you and say if they take your baby and/or if your wife dies...your on your own legally they will not represent you... or help you get your kid back if they take them... and All of that Lost and Unnecessary Drama ...FOR WHAT???!!!!! .Just to support a old outta context misapplied scripture that most members secretly on the low dont support..... and The Org really dont either because they know its B.S. ...They dont even really talk about the blood doctrine anymore in the Hall really (because their trying to distance themselves from it and slowly dissolve it) ...Stark contrast if you grew up in the 80s and 90's in the Hall...At the end ...we ended up going the bloodless route...using cell salvage....and made it through ok....But afterwards...It changed Us...After that experience ...coupled with Ray Franz book and research on all the other foolery...me and my family broke away...The Org is Bloodguilty!!!!!!

my mom had a car accident and her bill fold was thrown from the car. She did not have her blood card. she was unconscience and I signed for her to have blood. I decided it was a sin worth dying for. She is 89 years old he wreck was at age 76. I am so glad I made that decision.

This one hit close to home. I got a story to tell y’all one day I know people who have died by not taking blood. I also know some who have committed suicide. I still have family in that my get upset with me about this one. This religion has devastated so many families with their false teachings. It’s a shame to see families go thru something like this.😢

Sorry to hear of your losses. I never joined JWs , but at that time I did do bible study and go to meetings. My children were small and at the time I worried in case they ever might have needed blood. I am so happy that I never had to make that choice. Sorry for all those who died in good faith as a sacrifice for this wicked masonic organisation.

Back in the 70s I was in a congregation where a couple were faced with a similar issue over their new born baby. They said that the baby had been made a ward of court and the decision was taken from their hands. The relief on the faces was palpable. The baby would likely live and they hadn't had a hand in the baby's death. The baby did live. All was well after.

Absolutely! Fortunately neither me, nor my husband or daughter have been faced with a medical crisis that would involve needing a blood transfusion. But if it were the case, ABSOLUTELY! As a side note - I donate plasma regularly & blood a few times annually - my way of sticking it to the b’org.

That’s why milk is heavily pasteurised. It has some blood in it when it’s taken from a cow. So essentially we take in a bit of blood that way too….

I know of a case where the doctors stepped in and gave the baby a blood transfusion although the elders said no. So I say do what you know to be good for you. Pray to Jehovah continue to ask for guidance. Remember these elders are imperfect humans use discernment.

My JW husband took a blood transfusion. I don’t think any action was taken by the elders but I suspect they blamed his apostate wife for putting pressure on him which was not the case at all.

It's always a great video thanks for sharing, watchtowers society, their always quick to say, they educated the medical community about blood fragments and they tought the medical community how to break blood down so it's not a blood transfusions, but in reality, all their actually approve of by the watchtowers society is saying is we found a loophole in blood transfusions, the bible says don't eat blood, but if we break it down, it's not whole blood, think about that, the watchtowers society found a loophole in God's law, he said not to eat blood, but he doesn't say not to eat fragments of blood transfusions, it's really so ridiculous, it's a loophole in God's law, is the watchtowers society so smart that they can outsmart even God, by simply saying if you break blood into particles it's not blood anymore it's now just fragments of blood, it's crazy

I work at a hospital. I recently attended a “cultural “ training where the trainer mentioned that a JW couple (parents) secretly told the nurse to “just have the doctor get a court order.” So they remained in good standing but were able to make their wishes known to medical staff nonetheless.

Even as a child the day we signed the blood cards at the meeting always disturbed me. I never carried those things around with me. It was a shock to learn this past year- decades after I left- that the society sends out goons called the HLC to come out to strong arm you into sacrificing your life. This is a dangerous cult.

I'm so glad that I wasn't a jw in 2021 because 2021 was the worst year of my life, I got the full covid disease, pneumonia, my right lung blew a hole and as a result I was bleeding internally and got put in a coma for 2 1/2 months. After I woke up from the coma, the doctors told me they had to do 3 blood transfusion because they thought I was gonna bleed to death. If I would've still been a jw, I wouldn't be here sharing this experience. Edit: yes the doctors asked me if I wanted a blood transfusion before I passed out and I said yes, it's a good thing that I followed Jason Zelda's advice, " burn the suicide card", or blood card after I left the group.

Another eye-opening video. I always knew if my kids needed a transfusion they'd get it. I wish I would give uneducated men the opportunity to decide on my kids life. They are not medical professionals and it always bothered me that they couldn't answer the questions that were asked. So happy to be away from it!

I sign the blood cards after my baptism, but I continued see and listening the governing body with their stupid and unbiblical doctrine that I started to wake up, those things stopped me from signing any other cards! I move to another language congregation and they immediately approached me about the cards and I kept postponing it, and never did it! A year later on 2016 at the age of 72, after by accident saw the ARCT I send my DS letter! Happy that I did it!
