Today I did my first muscle up for the first time. I've been trying for 2 months and two days ago I saw your video on RU-vid, I followed your advice and techniques and today I did it for the first time !!! You're the best man! Thanks 🤩
I did my first unassisted kipping muscle-up today. I watched many tutorials, but yours really helped me to tie up all the loose ends in my form. The most important part from your video that really helped me was the "pushing together of the elbows" as you pull. I would also suggest to anyone trying to muscle up, to first start with resistance bands. It really helped me to get used to the movement. Thanks so much again!
Hope i had a sergeant like him in the army..unfortuntly i had some smart ass lieutenants who teased me for being the only one in the Unit who working out instead of giving me tips..you are the best!!
Excellent tutorial. I can do L-sit ring pull ups, 4 sets of 13, so this is the next challenge. I know ring technique are different so I better try on bar first. OBTW, I'm 68.
I can't even do a pull up. I'm watching you so I could get motivated. I've seen you on instagram first. I would love to progress. Hope I'll achieve in next three years. Currently working out to get in shape.
Late to the party but getting there. Easy Angle, Negatives, Pullups, archer, and L-sit is where I am at...I can do those. Muscle up not there yet. I will get there! Then those typewriters and shakers baby. New goals.
I achieved my first muscle up today after watching this video n that feeling..oooff....all I did was broke down every part of the whole muscle up in parts like he said worked on the movements n boom just went over the bar
Got my first muscle up today! If you can do 10-15 pull ups it's all technique and execution at that point. The invisible bar trick is something new. Gotta try that next time. Good video SGT. (Go Army though)
This was awesome, Michael! I've been trying to do a muscle up for several months. Can't get there yet. Appreciate the additional info. And, thank you for your service!
Thank you, Michael! I have had to use resistance band to assist me to do muscle ups although I was able to do 10 pull ups without issues. 45° top is very handy tip. 💪💯
I hope everyone gets something out of this video! This is just how I self-taught myself to do them. I never watched any videos on how to do them so this is strictly from experience only. Let me know what you think and please LIKE the video! :)
ali hayyder try “dead hangs” Hold on the the pull up bar with a firm grip and time your self. Start with 10 seconds or whatever you can handle and continue to challenge your best time. Also assisted pull ups/chin ups with resistance bands worked for me.
It's also really helps if you take a really deep breath before the pull and exhale as forcefully as you can upon the lift, maintaining the forceful exhale at the transition (the most difficult part).
Hellow US from France we are together very good video with lot of advices very important i have never see an other channel with so much explication good job i will try the last time i do some pull up !!
I still cannot do a muscle up. I’m currently at 30 dips and 12 pull ups. This video gave some hints I’ve never heard before, gonna implement them when the park opens again
Eu me preparei por 3 anos para realizar o bar muscle up mas somente apos essa dica de tentar juntar os cotovelos na fase de subida que eu consegui realizar o BMU. Obrigado
