Yeah this one was good for her. I really enjoyed it! Taking a little break for Con of Heroes but hopefully the two handed play for her and Spider-Man won’t be too long in the making! 😀
Pain Josh should have held on to that Relentless Assault and played Chooser of the Slain for the card draw before anything else. Crushing a minion in your bare hands right out of the gates is the correct way to inform the villain Valkyrie has entered the fray.
42:36 sadly this is where you put one threat as opposed to 2… :( as someone who actually likes Valkyrie, it was fun to see you play her. Solo I can only get her to work effectively in leadership.

I have! Looks really cool! First impression is this has Father’s Day written all over it 😆 I’m definitely interested in seeing more rules talk hopefully in another article soon but it definitely has my attention. I’m a big big fan of Pandemic style games and this has that kind of vibe, and I’m obviously a sucker for Marvel games. It’s very pricey so I want to see what’s in there that makes it so expensive, cause it ain’t the standees 😅
@@GetUpandGame exactly my thoughts! I was impressed that there were 20 heroes until I realized that you play them in pairs so it’s really only ten options. Still a lot for a base game but the price tag is very high for what we’ve seen so far. But hey, maybe we’ll see it on the channel sometime? After Father’s Day of course 😂
I was wondering how the deckbuilding cards would work in this branch. Will future heroes have access to Valkyrie's cards as well as the core set ones and their own?
Yep! I’m treating it as if the core came with the same cards (minus the heroes) and the card pool will grow in the order of the heroes I play. The villain stuff is a little more loosey goosey lol (whatever I happen to need at the time to make it work). So I guess when a core set hero shows up they don’t bring any new cards with them lol
Also weird dude... Valkyrie is ranked super powerful in our universe... not sure why you didn't get that message with all of the powerful energy we are sending you...

It’s definitely in the plans yes. When I get back to full time production after things settle down with my newborn I have a whole plan for how to approach the channel in the future and the multiverse saga is a major part of that 👍
Atta' way, Pain Josh! Green Goblin may technically be the easiest villain to beat, but his flipping mechnic was hurting MY head, LOL!! I'm enjoying the campaign storyline as well!!

@@danielcraig6615 ha unfortunately for him the only reward he’s getting is playing Absorbing Man with War Machine. A hero I dislike almost as much as Valkyrie. I’ll have to find another “campaign rule” to make him more fun like with Valk 😆
Besides not being that good at managing threat, i kinda like the idea of just going thru minions over and over again 😅 however, valkyrie is still pretty low on my wishlist haha
@@carlosfreitas6790 ha yeah, her general gameplay can be fun, but sometimes it’s maximum effort for minimal gain. She really feels like she’s just spinning her wheels a lot of the time. Still, this was pretty fun 🙂
In reality--how do you know your in a different universe...??? You could be in the same one... and just because someone tells me "hey your in a different universe then me" doesn't make it a true statement... you had better think harder about this setup... and figure out your universe backstory before sharing it with everyone... because it makes no sense...
