I have a 2019 Deluxe 107 that I had the Torque cam, hi flow air cleaner and V&H Eliminaters installed on by the dealership. And it was uncomfortably loud. I installed the quiet baffles and it brought the noise down to a comfortable level. I also have a Street Glide Special 114 and the Deluxe still has more volume but its a pleasant sound now. Thanks for the video, you helped me decide what to do with my issue.
Thanks for the input and more particularly the way to install. I had Eliminator 300s on both my previous Slim and my current 2022 Low Rider S. I have the SE torque upgrade and an S&S mini tear drop. The bike goes so quick BUT both Germany and France are now getting very touchy over loud pipes including big fines and prohibition notices. Going that way in some cities in England too. So giving the quiet baffles a try, they are just drying off after a black high temp exhaust rattle can spray, so hopefully put in, in the morning. Will let you know..👍
Did mine with quiet baffles. Sounds good but not too loud, deeper tone and good sound shifting from engine deceleration. Pulled one muffler too far out and had to trim end of fiberglass to get it back in without blocking exhaust path. I painted ends with high heat black. Video on my page if you wish to see.
Just installed the quiet baffles. Drops the sound about 3-4db at idle but still has the same V&H sound. A little more mellow, but still plenty of volume. Ideally they would sell the pipes with then you could decide to take them out if you want. I prefer them in.
So the instillation went as smoothly as on your video except I didn’t remove them from the pipes. Started the bike up and definitely quieter but not quiet. Will take the bike out in the morning to test it. Only thing I have noticed is tickover is quicker, but I suspect the ECM will adapt to that over the next few days?
We all like that a harley sounds like a harley, but the 300 eliminators that I have installed in a lowrider 2020, sound too loud in my opinion. Following your instructions I will install the quiet bafles. Thanks good video.
@@racconsrazor9080 I installed the quiet baffles and you were right, lower the sound at low revolutions and keep it acceptable when you upload them. Much better than the series tubes. In a Low rider 2020.

Thanks for the rapid follow up. I went online to order this part and the instructions state that it will not work for the heritage classic. From your video it looks like it fits perfectly. Did you do any mods at all?
Mike Cole no mods. Also my first time I took the pipes off to install, however I have taken them out and back in without removing the pipes and that works just fine as well. Aside from having to lay down under the bike to work it is faster and easier. Remember to only rotate the assembly in the same direction as the fiberglass in flowing. This will make it easy to rotate so the Allen bolts come around to you and for lining it back up when done to reattach the two set bolts. When I ordered them it also said it wouldn’t work on my 2019 Heritage but there was another soft tail model that uses the same pipes and it said it would work on that one. Not sure why they say that when the part numbers are the same.

Hi thanks for posting this video, with time how do you feel about them now? I have just installed a set of 300s on my 22 street bob and they are way too loud for me...does the decibel baffle make alot of difference?..dont want to splurge more money and be disappointed...
Half Dog it is deep and it removed popping during deceleration. The sound is a happy medium between stock and the pipes open. Quiet enough al low rpms to be able to leave for work at 5am without waking the neighborhood but loud when I get on it. I am getting the stage 2 next month and it is supposed to make a sound difference even with the baffles. I’ll make a video when that happens
Hi, do you have a part number for the inserts? I contacted Vance and Hines and they told me they don't make a baffle that works for heritage with eliminators. thanks
Neither. I left it packed in. It is only packed around the outer ring and the length of the pipe. You’ll see when you take it apart to put the baffles in
Rob RC2018 it is Vance and Hines. The part number is referenced on their website. I had to order them 3rd party though because I live in California where they are illegal lol
Why is the quiet baffle causing such a high-pitch whining sound? I'd prefer the original V&H E300 with stock fibre glass baffle installed which gives the most clean, soothing bassy sound. Sometimes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Hello! I have an Iron 883 with Mini Grenades on, and unfortunately when I leave for work at 7AM in the morning, on narrow streets with blocks of buildings, I make my neighbours hate my guts so much to wait for me and stop me to tell me to go on another road since it's impossible for the night shift workers to be able to sleep. I understand their point of view and on top of that I have an underground parking with people appartments right on top of it, so those guys can't be too happy about my exhaust either, even tho they didn't complain...so I'm thinking of getting this quiet baffles installed...In your oppinion, do they reduce the volume enough so I won't be hated and cursed upon by literally every human being in my hood? @@racconsrazor9080 i have just had a set of 300s installed along with a K&N filter element on my 22 street bob...I had a factory tune to keep my warranty with my dealer...they are too loud for me so think I might install DB killers like you have shown on here. Will I need a retune? Also I noticed a small drop in performance too ..could I run with the DB killers and SE plugs and wires? Thanks
@@richardphillips1041 you will get your power back and you shouldn’t need a re tune. Be aware that most online sales for be baffle are for ONE only even if the pic shows two. I fell for that one and had to wait to order the second one lol.
Leo Van Vliet I took the baffles back out after I upgraded my plugs and wires. I was getting a loss of power without the back pressure too but the new wires and plugs fixed that.
