This is a new GoPro ype action camera package that is truly complete out of the box. Coming with a full compliment of mounting accessories plus 2 batteries, a remote and a microSD card - it's ready to use with one purchase. It has all the basic features and no dealbreakers. It doesn't have advanced controls or IS, applies a bit heavy contrast but overall image quality both day and night is very good for sure. Audio is not as good as GoPro but much better than most. Great review man. Sometimes it's hard to find good reviews of these budget cameras. Also, what res were your recording with it at ?? I saw some 4k footage and it didn't look too good.

The one I just bought does NOT have the lil slide gadget to open the underwater case, you just flip it up. Cool. Just received mine May 2020.

I've been looking for an inexpensive action cam to use only a few times/year for some trips. What I'd like to see are the helmet mount pieces. With a Sena comm on the left side, I'd like to see how they mount on the right side (3/4 helmet) or front (Scorpion ATO950). The one catching my eye the most is the newer Sena Tube Prism WiFi. The video on this camera does look very nice.

the one thing that was not gone over was where to put the SD card...lol..after looking a few minutes I saw it inside the battery case...just not sure which way to insert it...the connections away from me or towards me...lol

I won a midland 720p xtc action camera, is is thin and it does good with filming on my bike. I also have a crosstour action cam, it looks a lot like a gopro, it does well too what I am like for the gopro knock offs, is that they come with a remote. I had to pay 70+dollars for my gopro hero 5 remote, I had on my handle bars and someone took it......

Is it just me or is the video quality not that great? I bought a similar camera and the 4K setting looked more like 480p. Could be I had a setting option wrong but could never get the picture quality to look good.

None take long clips, they can not be saved that way to cards.

Did you get the WiFi feature to work? It will not turn on and even when connected to the phone app, it claims to be offline. No support from the vendor. Thanks

I havn't had much interesting to say - no new reviews, no events and have just been enjoying the rides with groups lately. The winter is fairly dead here but it picks up in a couple weeks as events start up again

Dude. You don't get it. It was to show exactly how it records. It has nothing to do with my normal equipment. There's no point in showing a comparison if you make it normal.

Great deal with extra battery and sd card. I use mine as a dash cam mounted on helmet and on ram on handlebars. Serves its purpose for what it is. Now I can scream “I got you on camera” when someone turns in front of me 4 blocks away than throw my hissy fit. I could have been Killed. Yes that was sarcasm...

For $40.00 at @t with a 32 GB Sandisk SD card it's a no brainer for someone wanting to get their hands wet instead of buying an expensive Go Pro. The VanTop action cam also has a SONY 16 MP Sensor inside. Not so sure about this but at least that is what the @t ad states Mind you the Akaso, Apeman, ApexCam, Dragon Touch, and CamPark action cams look almost identical to the VanTop action cam so these action cams are likely just re-branded Chinese action cams under different names. Even if the VanTop is not a great action cam you can still always use all the accessories (and this includes 2 batteries, wireless remote, underwater case, and bike and helmet mounts) in the future with a better action cam. BTW ~ the VanTop action cam can also be used as a dash cam, computer video cam, and home security cam as well. It's not a Go Pro by any means but the VanTop can sure do a heck of a lot for such a cheap and decent Chinese action cam that can take video at 1060p at 60 fps. Not bad buy for $40.00. Great honest review and nice video accompaniment! Good work!!!

Kassandra Gutierrez depends on the battery life and the the storage card, it could record for a long time for as long as there is space in the storage and has battery life
