**PLEASE NOTE: This Tutorial was created to demonstrate the features in V10 which is no longer the current software available, and is here for reference to customers using V10. Please refer to the latest software playlist for the current set of tutorials.**
This videos provides an overview of the Tool Database, showing how to manage your library of tools in the software. You will see how to navigate the tool list, copy and create new tools, edit tooling parameters and import and export tool information. You will also see how to add a form tool (custom shaped tool) and where to access the actual tool database file on your hard-drive for backup purposes.

Is this tool database only for router bits? I want to add a oscillating knife.

Hello Michael... the Tooldatbase for Aspire V10.5 is located here - C:\ProgramData\Vectric\Aspire\V10.5\ToolDatabase As you can see that will work for Aspire, but all of our V10.5 software tool databases will be stored here under the software name - C:\ProgramData\Vectric\ Hope that helps ~Todd

How in the hell do you create a keycutter bit? Nothing works, says there is no suitable vector, when there clearly is, and selected.

Hello Mogalize... thanks for the comment and sorry you are having trouble. I would suggest, in this case, sending an email toy support@vectrci.com and see what they think. You will need to include the file and a description of what you are trying to do. It is hard to answer a question like this with out it. Thanks...

boring, I hoped a bit you say some about other stuff regarding tools like cutting parameters at least in few words, or what chip load is, or step over. everything else could take 5 min all together as the program I can see here is very intuitive so easy in that way.
