I saw this video last night, and went straight to the supermarket this morning for the garbanzo flour....... I am eating my omelette and I feel emotional like I want to cry, bc one thing I LOOOOOOVE is eggs and I now know that I can do this!!!....... I also feel like crying bc I feel like I am having decadent " Unhealthy " food but I am eating healthy! The vegan cheese sauce is out of this world on top of this OMELETTE!!!!
I love eggs too! That's the only thing that is stopping me from becoming a full-time vegan. The vegan omelettes are tasty but they are nothing like real eggs.
Chef ranbeer brar or Ranveer brar has a good one as well. He used gram flour also known as bésan in Hindi. It's split chickpea lentil . And is more finely ground . Also just egg is a brand that makes egg batter with moong beans . She did forget black salt / kala namak which gives that eggy smell and flavor
An actual egg omelette is far from 'unhealthy'. It's actually very healthy and while I wouldn't recommend eating a large amount of eggs daily, it's very good for your body. Going vegan does not make you any more healthy than someone who is not vegan. Be vegan for whatever reason you want (whether medical or political) but saying a non-vegan is 'unhealthy' with regards to an egg omelette is simply not true.

I made your cheese sauce. It turned out really good. I put it over my sweet potatoes and squash. I forgot to put in the lemon. I also don’t use garlic or onion powder because my wife is allergic to garlic. I’m looking forward to making this recipe next. Thanks.
Can't wait to try this! I recently learned about black sea salt and the sulfur-type flavor it gives to food. I bet it would work great in this recipe to make it taste more like an egg. BTW, the bloopers are hilarious!! Love your channel!

Kiki, i am with you on simple and going lighter on the fancy recipes.i am single and it is so nice to relax and make “bowls’ with different veggies and starches. And eat them one at a time! Wanted to give a new bread recipe, I live down in Ky we like to make corn bread to make it use 1C corn meal and half C of whole wheat flour mix with milk add 1 tsp of cocoanut oil and baking soda if flour is plain I use self rising flour add enough milk like your pancakes flip like pancakes,we call them hocakes usually with bowl of pinto beans and slice of onion. This is southern cooking hope you like it let me know after making it
Wonderful video... Thanks for showing us how you make your omelets... I have discovered that adding some nutritional yeast and red pepper flakes, really add some awesome flavor. I always make extra but tend to sneak eat them. Not a good habit. How do you avoid the picking? You have done so well with your healthy plan.

This didn't taste like an egg at all...but I loved it! It was so quick and easy, cooked easily and is soft! I may use this to replace tortillas sometimes. I will definitely keep this and will soon see how well it works using rice flour. Since it's easier to get, I'm hoping for the same effect.

Geesh ...if that is being lazy..than I'm A sloth... How can you worry about being lazy? You have wonderful recipes, video tape and feed your family at the same time...efficient to the max i would say girl! Im experimenting with a vegan diet for the next 30 days..started September 1st..I have high cholesterol doc wants to put me on meds...im not overweight and I think i eat pretty healthy.. The ending was so confusing with the multiple takes all shown that I now didn't quite get whether you ONLY prep the veggies ahead of time, or whether you actually bake the omelets ahead of time (you did say 4:57) the kids heat it up?

I literally just saw this yesterday! Made rice flour in my Vitamix but it just wouldn’t set so, sadly that didn’t work .. I have made red lentil flatbread so that will be my go to!
I know this is an older video but I feel the more I watch your videos, the more I thnk you hate doing them. I wish you didnt say you hate cooking ALL THE TIME. If you hate it, dont do it! I would enjoy the videos so much more if you made it look like you do enjoy bringing such great info to us with a little smile or excitement in your videos...like you did in a recent interview. I love learning.
Why do i keep thinking that if you add some tofu(premixed with a little Himalayan black salt) to the mix. it might not only improve on the, already great texture and taste, but it may just let this delicious pancake grow up to omelette status. I'm going to experiment a little with the idea....Great video.
Alright, I will advise to use chic pea or the rice flour. Bc I thought I could sub either what I had on hand, coconut flour, gluten free, and yeah. I should of just gone to the store😂
LOL, love bloopers. You cook all the time, and you hate to cook. I hate to cook and I work full-time, it is hard to walk in the kitchen and think of stuff to cook. I will have to start writing your recipes down in a notebook.
