Hi Skip. I have really enjoyed your videos. I'm wondering if others can access or purchase the N84DL Cessna for X-Plane 11. The stock Cessna 172 aircraft that is included with X-Plane 11 is fuel injected. I see that N84DL is carbureted, and that is preferable for training purposes.
Hi Richard, You can get the same 172N I use from X-Hanger.com. Here's a link: www.x-hangar.com/store/general-aviation/cessna-172n.html Note that it will NOT look like mine, I made a lot of changes in photoshop and X-Plane Plane Maker. What I like about X-Hanger airplanes is you can still make changes to the instrument panels, a lot of newer airplanes don't use the 2D panel so you can't make any changes. I modeled mine after N172DL, the plane I fly in real life out of Redding Calif. @@WEHVideos I do dabble in xplane 11 i use to use FSX for a while as it seems more user-friendly lol. I can't wait till the new microsoft simulator comes out
That would be nice but I doubt Microsoft will get back into flight sims. I started with Microsoft Flight Simulator when it first came out and switched to XP when they quit, there's a lot I like about XP and a few things I miss in FSX. Blessings, skip
Hi madnessmethod2823, Good question. This is a VFR flight so there is no exact course we must fly. This whole flight is in Class G airspace so we can almost go any route we want. As long as we can get close to our waypoints we are good. We need to stay out of restricted air space but in this flight there's only Redding Muni and Chico airspace we have to be concerned about. You are flying to waypoints you can actually see so just fly directly to the waypoint as long as you don't violate airspace rules. As you get close to your waypoint veer to the right a bit so you can see it on your left. Once over your waypoint go back to the heading you planned in the flight plan to get to the next waypoint. Hi Sascha, Sorry your having trouble, unfortunately the power plant does NOT come with X Plane so you won't see what's in the video. I just uploaded a link for you to download the custom scenery if you want the power plant just click the link below and download the Power Plant Custom Scenery and export it to you X Plane Custom Scenery folder and restart XP you should then see the power plant.
