Maybe a weird question, In spite of that, I saw an episode of yours which was about rejuvenation, actors being made younger through special effects. Are these techniques and perhaps you also ever approached by the police, FBI? To help with cold cases?

Going to take advantage of the fact that this has only one view and one reply to beg the Corridor Crew to do a VFX episode that focuses on James Gunn's Peacemaker series, Eagly the Eagle, and that whole show. Or at least talk about it in one of the VFX shows - would love to see what the crew think of Eagly, who was entirely CG but very photorealistic.
@EbonyPope

The amount of debris depends on the size of the model. But only will there be a lot more debris with a bigger model but the explosion itself will look much more realistic. No matter what you do with CG a real explosion always looks better.

One reason to have Mark Hamill on set is because he would know the character choices to make. How Luke would raise his hand or turn his head and why. A good actor will think about his character's posture, or where his eyes would look and for what reasons. I might be able to stand like a Jedi, but I wouldn't know what Luke's feeling or why. I'd need to understand the character better.

Regular viewers know that they always let 2 guys speculate on how it was done, then the third guy gives the "answer" and usually shows us BTS footage. Specifically look at marvel. Theres a structure to these things. Disney have been at it for a long, long time. they know the fundamentals, and if you want to work with them, youre going to follow it. Disney aren’t exactly known to be risk takers.i dont think it’s necessarily a bad thing. You wont get stinkers from modern disney, but you wont get masterpieces of art either. I was in War of the Worlds! Part of it was shot in Rockbridge County VA. We did the scene where the humvees roll up the hill, and I run behind Cruise right when the missiles shoot over his head and he yells COME BACK HERE! He messed up that simple line like 5 times, sending us all running up the hill over and over. Eventually Speilburg gets on his megaphone and says "Tom, your mission if you choose to accept it, is to get your lines right" then he began whistling the mission impossible theme. I leaned over with a smile and asked "Are you going to take that? I mean... you're Tom Cruise!" Which made him laugh, which made the directors assistant upset as I may have been taking him out of character, which almost got me kicked off set. Good times.

I think you should react to 1999 walking with dinosaurs documentary series. This show is near perfection when it comes to representing the dinosaurs as normal animals, and not just as impressive movie beasts. This piece of media opened my eyes to the amazing world of the Mesozoic beasts of the past as a kid and played a huge part in my love for animals. The documentary may have its fair share of problems like the old CGI, the inaccuracies concerning the dinosaurs, due to its old age and time-traveling creatures. I still think that you should give it a shot, it's a great show, it'd be an honor to see you're guy's reactions to it.

What the gang said is even though Disney had the actual shot of Mark Hamill in that scene, they replaced those shots completely with another actor and basically deep faked Mark's younger face for the final shot. Which means none of Mark Hamill's actual body cues - like him moving or standing - ended up in the final shot.
@Bad_Wolf_Media
@Bad_Wolf_Media 2 года назад
@@not_imy You're correct, from the VFX point of view. But what hobbyhands is talking about is the acting aspect. For Max Lloyd-Jones to be able see how Mark Hamill moves and shifts, that's something that is incredibly useful to an actor. So, you're right, there's not a VFX use for Hamill being there. But he's still adding so much to the performance.

Hear, hear! The floor of the stage bounces, so that absorbs quite a bit of it. I'm guessing the collapsible chairs are plastic with some kind of impact-absorbing coating (rubber?), and the sound is added in post-production to make you _think_ the chair is metal when it's actually not. Also, notice how when one wrestler his another inside of the arena stage they stomp their foot at the same point where the blow lands on their opponent-?

@@EVAUnit4A the floor doesn't bounce as much as you think, and it really depends on the region. Mexican rings tend to be harder because luchadors are more about the flips, and they need more stability. The old school WWF rings were basically as hard as concrete. The chairs are 'gimmicked' but are mostly still metal. Also chairshots to the head have mostly been phased out in mainstream wrestling due to concussion issues, with only the occasional blow to the body being used. As any veteran would tell you, "there is no good way to take a chairshot". And yes, there are stomps and leg slaps to sell the impact of a blow, when actually the punch or kick is not making full impact. That does not mean there is no impact (I recently saw a picture of a wrestler who bit off the side of his tongue due to a mistimed kick to the face), and again, it depends on regions. Japanese Strong Style wrestlers hit a lot harder than Western ones, since a lot of them come from legitimate MMA backgrounds, and it's what's popular there.
