Shot by Paul Green this footage seems to have been captured right before a skirmish with the Vietcong breaks out. The camera man captures some of the casualties as well as a close up of the Vietcong.
Rule of thumb: if the enemy is close enough that you can hit them with a rock, and they're charging right at you while every friendly nearby runs away, you're not going to make it home. In other words? Unless somebody earned a Medal of Honor by single-handedly saving that cameraman's ass, this is faaaaaaaaake.
Improper carrying of M16A1 (as far as I’ve heard? Apparently the carry handle wasn’t made to be used as one..), post Vietnam cat eyes band, no helmet cover (not unheard of, but rare), Vietcong wearing rice hats that, as far as I’ve seen in hundreds of photos, were never worn into combat, a lone cameraman just standing there filming a body while the enemy just rushes at them, one guy is apparently wearing just the liner of an M1, assuming it’s even American produced.. Its as fake as my ex’s orgasms
I thought the same thing too man but they sent it to me and i uploaded. according to the story it was actual combat and reporters just like medics were not allowed to be killed according to the rules of war.
