I went to Dunnellon high school which is on that road they filmed the movie on. It’s a long, creepy road to drive at night and we always tried to avoid driving it at night. It’s so crazy that you guys came to my hometown and it is now being shared all over the world ❤
This is quitely considered to become a historical footage/gem that will become appreciated by future generations. Anyways, how surprising to know that you went to that particular school close enough to a filming location that has now become an amazing site to visit & remember
The fact that 4 of the biggest, deep Deep DEEP dive vloggers were hanging together, gathering footage and generally being 11 year old boys with drivers licenses and recording devices, in Florida, Christmas-ish week 2022, is a treat not unlike opening a present you didn't know you wanted but are over the moon to have received! The Woo Man, Sean, Micah and Tampa Jay - a blessing for more years of bonded friendship to you all! Thank you for sharing this outing. ❤✌🌮
I love that some people appreciate horror movies enough to keep the filming locations in tact!!! That's awesome! I remember seeing this movie in theaters, the same year I saw American Psycho!! Great movie and video. ❤
The movie was so creepy because the filming location is so creepy, having lived in Florida for 20 years, trust me, there are some creepy places around in the state of FL
Hey Adam, I was watching the 2022 Christmas movie “A Christmas Karen” and it was partially filmed in Celebration Florida. The movie had several scenes of the Christmas lights and displays from Jeater Bend neighborhood. The story is basically a modern day Dickens’s A Christmas Carol. Happy Holidays !
Glad you guys got to visit these filming locations it’s a shame that the old school that was the police station in the film ain’t there anymore. That was a part of history. They did however use another school which is Weirsdale Elementary School which I think still exists.
Y’all missed one of the best scenes locations!!! It’s in Eustis, FL, where the house was with the cat lady and the scare crow scene! Also filmed in the same place was the scene where they drive back and forth over the monster! I was a senior in high school and we would go and watch them film at night!
@@SmallnMighty95 yes, it is very close to the corner of Estes Road and 44a in Eustis!! The house unfortunately has been torn down! It’s funny because even before the movie was filmed we always said that we thought it was haunted!
@@kurtmatthews6649 Thanks got the info. I found where the house use to be and I have to say I’m surprised how far must have been off the main road. The movie made it seem like it was a short driveway.
The old high school was the old North Marion High School. My dad was part of the last graduating class in 1963. It was used as part of elementary school later. My dad was a basketball phenom and so I was given a piece of the old gym floor and a brick from the school.
When I heard about them demolishing the police station in 2020, I was thinking damnit, another good thing biting the dust in a bad year! That was a good building! Florida doesn't know how to preserve history like most southern states!😐
Ahhh another central Florida movie location... love it! Wish I got to get inside for some pics when I visited the “diner” And yes the tree that fabulous tree!!! looks like you guys had a great time!
4 legends in 1 video love it great video huge fan of the franchise and when you were talking about the police station you can hear the crows like in the movie legend awesome video
Wooow🤩i love you so much guys, thanks for this video😘 i'm a fan of Jeepers Creepers 1 and it seemed so nostalgic to watch this. I have downloaded the movie itself and it's funny i watched it over and over again🤣 i don't know why but i loved the aesthetics of the film specially the peaceful and beautiful sceneries along the road where Darry and Trish travel🤩 thanks so much and more power❤🙏
wow Adam I have to say this was one of your greatest vlogs the 4 of you together was so enjoyable .oh by the way thank u for your reply the other day from Universal Jamie
LOL! I can just here it now... "So Sean was standing here by the look of this indent in the grass from his Nike, and Adam would have been right about here. You can tell because of the angle this tree is right here."
The Unsolved Mysteries story that looks like the opening of Jeepers Creepers is right next to my hometown in Coldwater, Michigan. That school house still stands today!
I admit I like the road trip vlogs more than I like any thing else you do, visiting and relating the history of each little small town you visit. I also Love it whet you visit So Cal and hookup with Daphne ! You can see how she hangs on to your every word and seems smitten with you , I just can’t get enough of her bubbly personality! It seems like you spend a lot of time at Disney World or Disneyland theme parks and resorts, but if that’s what’s working for you right now, then more power to you., I realize you’ve been doing this channel for quite a long time now and the content has been so interesting. I’ve followed you since the “ oh, s$@n days and you got me hooked! Now it’s time for Adam the Woo to do what the woo wants to do, you deserve the best , you haventertained all of us for many years now and I hope you decide to continue for many, many more years. Just remember “ You can do it, ALl NIGHT LONG!
Adam, as a stated fan of John Hughes, I'm surprised that you haven't done a filming location video for the movie, "Dutch", with Ed O'Neill and Ethan Embry (Vegas Vacation). Just planting a seed in there for future travels. God bless!
As a fellow Florida boy, something you’ll never be able to unsee, is all the “truck crossing signs” with a late model box truck look like the Creepers van.
It's been 22 years since the shooting of the classic Jeepers Creepers movie, today 02/11/2023 I will probably get a VCR with a VHS cassette and watch part 1
HEY ATW...IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO AWESOME , WITHOUT THE others knowing, to pay that guy with CREEPER TRUCK to come flying up the road towards you guys with that horn roaring!! In the back ground, you can hear those crows squawking the whole time you were filming. So happy to see Sean Clark, the King of Horror Fandom ,and World of Micah, such a class act. Such a fun time today.
I was working on a commercial once as a CNC person I can still remember the number of trailers and cars that were at my job.......I never had so many free strawberry smoothies
I’m from the uk and would love to visit them - side note: there’s no words to describe what the latest film did - appalling on every count - first two are the only good ones - why can’t they recreate the good things from the first two?
What I've always liked about the Creeper is he's like a B Movie monster in a modern world and IMO would fit right in with The Creature, Dracula, The Monster and The Wolfman.
i shall try to roll on by the cart place and give it a look see next time i'm in Ocala, i try to find these places you guys go and see for myself. to get the full experience.
Okay, this is a match up that is tops. I think that this type of exploration is enhanced, by multiple people that can add to the mix, due to various knowledge they possess. In any case, this was super, Adam and company. 👏👏👏👏
Fun fact.… My dad used to drive by this building every day on his way to and from work. He said he drove by one day and the building looked completely different. He thought they were about to open a new restaurant. He thought it was weird to put a restaurant in that spot. Little did he realize that they were dressing it up for the movie jeepers creepers. The signage, façade, gas pumps, and fake frontage were all added to the building for the filming, but removed when filming was over. As soon as the filming stopped, the building returned right back to the way it looked Before. My dad said he thought at the time that it was the strangest thing he’s ever seen. He had no idea what they were doing. Also, the road was a two-lane road back when the movie was being filmed. It has sense been converted to a four-lane highway.
My children went to the high school on road trees are we had to detour all the way around to the south to go to school for months while they filmed it was a hoot for the kids ....
hey adam... the Rays just released their plan for 2023 spring training, revised after Hurricane Ian: Their inaugural spring training home game will be at the DISNEY WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS COMPLEX on Feb 28. I saw this and knew I had to try to let you know!! The remainder of the games will be at the Trop starting in March.
Dear Adam, you should get together more often with your vlogs buddies. You always make your vlogs with buddies such an enjoyable and happy one. With me housebound you and your bus make it fantastically fun,I even have to laugh alongside with you guys.Merry Christmas and I hope you have a wonderful and successful New Year
St 17:55 the unique tree is not the one near the light pole, it's the group to the left. Your screen grab shows 3 trees close together. Unique tree, then a tree across the street then the chaotic, many branches of the third tree in the left. Close enough, but the tree across street is what helped me determine that. Been down that road a hundred times, never knew those were the locations. That is for sharing crew .lol
@thedailywoo hey Adam, what kind of camera do you use, and what kind of microphone do you have attached, if any? To make the sound quality so good.. I'm interested in trying to make some videos of my own around New Hampshire / New England where I live and I'd like the quality and zoom to be as good as yours.
I digress, but my brain is forever conditioned to think of those teenagers singing "Jeepers Creepers" to James Cagney's old man George M Cohan character before they drive off at the end of the movie "Yankee Doodle Dandy". Fun vlog today of friends just hanging out and goofing around all day. :) Much respect to Sean Clark for the old war stories of carrying around a generator? for his VCR? Nice. I spotted Sean at a horror convention earlier this month and I wanted to pull him aside and ask questions about all his collectibles, lol, but he looked a little distracted --so maybe next time, lol Also Justin Long is still awesome, and he was so great in "Barbarian" this year. Cheers
The new owner of the diner shocked me when he said he never saw the movie. When you said it was on line he didn't know what you were talking about. He is one of a few people that have problem never used anything since VHS tapes. Just saying.......
