Hi Ange. Hope all is well and you've had a lovely Christmas. Hope you got the socks finished. I managed to finish Ben's socks on Christmas eve. They were washed and dried overnight then wrapped on Christmas morning. I've cast my first project on for the 12 cast on's. A cowl using the the Winnie the pooh club. Thanks for Vlogmasish this year, I've enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to 12 cast-ons even though it'll be a purely WIPs time for me (I think?). Im a one in one out knitter atm so if I finish something then I may get to join in a bit. Hope you had a great Xmas. Happy New year! X

I hope you and James had a marvellous Christmas, did Newt go with you? I have made a bit of stripy sock yarn go further by doing a heel flap and gusset in the same yarn as the contrasting cuff and toes - it puts a larger contrasting stripe on the instep, which has worked well in some cases and not so much in others!!! I have watched a couple of your older episodes this afternoon and I wondered how your first pair of hand spun socks had fared over the last 3 years (and also the orangey ones which used nettle rather than nylon as the supporting fibre); perhaps you could do an update or a show and tell in 2024. I, for one, would be interested in the outcome. Sorry to hear about your friend - sometimes memorial services can be tougher than a funeral, I think. Best wishes for a happy 2024, J.
