I'm really enjoying watching these cast on videos. At the beginning of the year I went through my wips and realised I had 12. What I've decided to do is everytime I finish one I'll cast on something new. This has been great as I've already finished 5 things, 3 wips and 2 of them new cast ons. Perfect as I've been able to cast on 5 more 😂 Having the variety and choice between projects has been so much fun! 12 is a great number! 😍 Thanks for sharing your wonderful woolly life with us! 💕

Hi Ange! I have all my cast ons. I’ve spent a bit of time with each one, but I think going forward, I’ll focus on a wip from 2023 and my Dunes cardigan. Looking forward to your next two! Happy knitting, spinning, weaving…. All the fun fiber stuff!

I'm loving seeing your cast ons. Those fibres are gorgeous and so you. I've managed 9 cast ons this time round - 3 pairs of socks that are finished, 3 garments, a half + half wrap and 2 more pairs of socks.

I’ve just finished a very complicated cross stitch pattern and am working on that massive blanket that I’m making for my son and d-i-l. After that I’ll be finishing up Gary’s socks. Enjoying your cast on videos. My 2024 plans are to keep up with my woolen and nosh monthly sock yarn subscription, and as soon as the yarn arrives, I will be casting on the artus shawl (early bday cast on treat).

Hey. My focus project for now is my floof sweater. Also I bought the yarn on a trip to canada in 2019 so its time to use it. But traveling doesn't give me a lot of knitting time. Hope to get the increases dome today and be able to divide for sleeves. A 21h bus ride is ahead of me tomorrow. Have a lovely day

Hi Angela😊 i enjoy your videos very much! This is the first time i am getting into this caston thing. To this time i managed it to cast on six pairs of vanillasocks an finished five of them. I caston a pair of christmaschaossocks wich is a free pattern and soo lovely. I'm looking forward to wear them next christmas😊 also i "caston" towels on my rigid heddle loom - i should get 3 to 4 of them and i caston a chunky lace cowl with my handspun, hand colored Yarn. Also a crochet shawl😅 hope i get this done. Thank you so much for your work. K.

The combo spin looks gorgeous, I love those Autumnal colours! I love the idea of the Shetland, Polwarth and Silk together. I'm working with a Polwarth/silk blend from Dragonfly Fibers just now that has been in my stash for a while, but I haven't seen a similar blend to yours in the US.

Ooh I love this one. I bought myself the cowl version with the idea of using up some handspun. Now I want to go stash diving and spin up something new. 🤣 Luckily, I already have a new spin on the wheel. I'm doing a similar thing to you for the #sockspinalong24 using some small advent samples and splitting them down to combo draft together into a 3 ply yarn. I'm loving that as each nest is smallish, my goal is usually just to spin 1 per day. I'm making way more progress than I thought I would. I'm not as disciplined with my cast ons as you. I've just been randomly picking up a few projects to knit on each day. Usually the simpler ones.

I H\have cast on another pair of toe-up sock using Regia 4-fadig Mosaik Color. I love this colourway and will be knitting using this colourway for the rest of my life I have 16 balls. I have also cast on another square from (Pick your Stitch - Build a Blanket) Book by Doreen L. Marquart. I am working through the book using each square pattern to make lots of dish towels for gifts whilst learning new stitches. I am only on my third. Great Travel knitting..

Hi Ang, I am working on a hat for my daughter with a ball of yarn from my stash that should match the cowl I made her! Also working on Nerdy knittings first raglan sweater class online! It's in my violet purple lovely wool from Cestari farms in Virginia! Hope not to look like Barney.

Yay for combo spins! I'm currently using my blending board to create "combo rolags" from a bunch of fiber nuggets I used for another combo project. When you spin using the approach you're using now, do you just grab a nest and then spin the three lengths of fiber back-to-back in random order?

Hi. I am focusing on 2 of my new cast ons this week. I switch between Musselburgh and Wild Woods Shawl. For the later I am using unspun yarn and I am really enjoying it. How did you like your Nutiden cast on? Are you coming back to it any soon? And is the dice cast coming back? Hugs Aleksandra
