Those on the hunt for a new supermini in 2020 will know that it isn’t as simple as choosing the best in class. In fact, a fair chunk of the UK’s best-selling cars are all superminis. Took out a 2016 polo from VW in Oct but trading it in for a 2020 beats polo tomorrow! can't wait

I have the SEL with the digital cockpit pro, cruise control, speed limiter and driving profiles selection as options. I have come to VW for the first time having been driving a 2010 Ford Fiesta 1.4D. The lack of a dedicated phone button and voice control is very frustrating. I had voice control on my 2010 ford fiesta Zetec. I went for the SEL to get Satellite Navigation because my experience with Android Auto is now tainted so much, I now refuse to use it whatsoever, which is a shame because when I first started to use it I loved it, but negative updates after negative updates spoilt the experience and Google assistant is in my view pants. The ride in the Polo is good and I am not an auto reviewer, but I really can't spot the difference between the Fiesta and the Polo? I did 236,000 miles in my Fiesta, so I knew it just a bit. if you want to through it around bends then select sports mode and have fun, but I spend most of my days traveling up and down the A3 so I keep it in Eco mode the majority of the time. Digital Cockpit Pro? should have been customizable with regards to colors, I find blue dials boring. One last observation the seat base is around 4cm longer than my Kia Sportage and my old Fiesta and as a result it tends to hurt the back of the knees on a long journey (I am short).
