I appreciate your honest and thorough critique of the bike, highlighting weaknesses as much as strengths. Very useful. Nicely done.

This review is absolutely well done.. Very well spoken out. I personally, very much appreciate the very simple descriptions, and points of importance. I personally, extremely!! appreciate the well spoken out “tech facts” and simple to understand “points of interest”.. I 100% absolutely love this bike, “outback”.. or the “enduro”.. (not seen or reviewed in above video).. I have done tons of research on different “e-bike” companies, and spoke to lots of folks (and a few ACTUAL “voltbike” riders).. out riding, about their personal “pro’s & con’s” on their bike (various makes/models).. and at the end of the day, SPECIALLY, after watching this review.. Once I am financially ready to make the step.. “Voltbike”.. 1,000% will have my business, and help me take my life to the next level.. thanx for doin such a great review.. Absolutely well done.. I am even more now, than ever before.. VERY EXCITED!!, and looking forward to becoming a “lifelong” happy client.. 🤙🤙

I am sold, I can use it in all seasons. It’s just right bike for 40+ guy like me. Price is right for great value.

Voltbike makes affordable ebikes while still providing decent quality. While nearly none of the components are high end parts (suspension is basic, drivetrain is basic, frame is a little hefty, etc) they still focus on producing a reliable, fun product that's great for anyone getting into ebikes. Try finding another full suspension ebike that will last at that price!

I really appreciate the detailed reviews you do! Hey have you ever tried using that super durable "bed liner" paint for protecting parts of a mountain bike? That stuff is insanely tough.

They now have the "Chain Guide" yes @ 10:55 also the Mono LCD display is now a Full Color Display yay! I'm preordering this today! I HOPE they included the "DERAILURE" guard also now! ALSO omg your reviews are amazing btw...I freakin' love this bike...I'm really really liking the Yukon also so that may be a future purchase for my partner...Anyways if your an American and in Canada doing these reviews I can't thank you enough for doing that and promoting a little bit of Canada! Also at the end of the video when you meet Ryan of Galiano Island and his really cool business! Can't wait to get back to Vancouver Island soon!

I wonder how difficult it would be to add integrated front and rear lights and fenders with cargo rack
@M5Dri3rz
@M5Dri3rz 5 лет назад
Probably nothing worth doing as this is a full suspension bike. The rear swingarm would make finding a good rack and fender system difficult.
@VoltbikeCanada
@VoltbikeCanada 5 лет назад
Hi Philp, the front light is already integrated. The rear light is independent because the only way to mount it is on the seat post. We usually do integrated rear light if the bike does have a rear rack. Running wires to the seat post is not ideal. For this style bike, I would recommend clip-on fenders. (mount on the seat post). The same for the rear rack. The swing arm makes mounting traditional rack difficult.

@6:44 - I don't think that's a handle to carry the battery. It appears to be a locking/unlocking lever. I could be wrong.
@VoltbikeCanada
@VoltbikeCanada 5 лет назад
Hi Lincoln, this handle works well for either lock/unlock or carry the battery around. This handle is pretty durable and I personally use it for carrying the battery.

What about a 45 degrees incline? Can a 500 watt motor handle it?
@NoName-iz6bs
@NoName-iz6bs 3 года назад
It for sure can if you help the motor by peddling. Throttle only, probably, if you’re not too heavy, but it would be slow-ishh

Can you put rear rack on this bike?
@bobstranzenbach4700
@bobstranzenbach4700 3 года назад
That has to be uncomfortable for you and the bike builders to have you sometimes say negative things about their pride and joys but at the same time it’s sort of interesting to know the maker has received the negative input too.

So pretty much these types of bikes from other brands are all the same? same parts, all similar design. I am sure component source is all the same and sale price is based on how much profit dealers want to make. If you were to strip to brand name logo and such, i bet most of viewers would think it is all same bike. (it's like all those generic things you find on ebay/amazon. when you see it, you know it is same thing, same or nearly damn same design, just different logo, but different price, many of those different chinese sellers are actually same sellers with different accounts) That being said, I would just get the lowest priced brand. (atleast we got few brands in Canada). That being said,,, if certain design/parts are used for my liking, I will likely buy one myself, as for now... why all fat tires?. If making clones of others, I want to see clone design of Tern bikes but at these seller prices) I just felt like saying that.

Why can't they have bigger front sprocket like a f****** 60-tooth or something, some of us really enjoy making an effort to really get moving fast when using pedal assist combined with the motor.
@rickymason3762
@rickymason3762 5 лет назад
Is it possible for someone to actually add different gearing, like bigger sprockets in the front and the back.

The website right now has its regular price as $2899 and sale price for $1899. So this company is not reliable. I almost ordered the bike but good to know they are faking their sale price

Why review all the bikes at such an easy gearing, looks like a kid learning to ride... I would do a 42 front - 18 in the back for more "normal" speed and cadence (50-60rpm).

@@jasonvoss1984 I'm thinking dogs dislike electric bikes. I was on one of my e-bikes a few weeks ago turning a corner on the street. Then I heard a very loud yowling and barking from a dog within an SUV traveling on the opposite side of the road. I know the dog was barking at me as it looked me right in the eye as we both passed by each other. Perhaps the dog's sensitive ears are picking up some high frequency humming of the DC-to-AC power conversion MOSFETs in the e-bikes perhaps! LOL.
