Channels like yours are better than owners manuals ,it's always easier to watch and listen to someone ho knows what they're doing.I can't figure out how to change the trip monitor on the display.Have you or will you be doing a video on the Voltbike display? Thanks Gary.

On my Voltbikes, you press both the UP and Down buttons at the same time for 2 seconds and the trip display resets back to "0". The newer color display models may be different thou.

Thank you Norm, new Voltbike Mariner owner here and your tips are very valuable. Just installed the Slime, man I'd hate to get a flat miles from home. Just turned 70 and this is a relatively heavy bike to push for any real distance. Subbed!

Thanks for the demo. I popped a tire recently on the way to work at 5am and it was not fun pushing/walking it the remainder of the way. Slime is going in this weekend. While I had my Lectric XP out with a flat, I rode my wife’s Volt Urban for a few days and enjoyed its nimbleness. Been thinking of getting a Volt 750 as next bike so will sub and watch more of your content.

Flat tires are no fun for sure, especially a long way from home with an electric bike. I have had Slime in both my Yukon and Mariner now for 5 years and never a flat yet. I highly recommend this product!

Thanks for the video. I just finished putting the tire slime in. Note to all make sure that you seat the tire bead and watch while pumping up the tire.

Great advice! I added the Slime before I got a flat so the bead was already set but if you add it when you change a tube, that is very good advise.

thanks to your video I just put Slime in my recently purchased Voltbike Mariner. I put in about 200 ml in each tire (20 x 4) and put in 15 psi. I got the product from my local Canadian Tire store. I'm located in southern Ontario, just got over 100 km on my Mariner so far and really enjoying it.

HH makes Great rain gear! Light weight and totally waterproof! Spring has been cool and very rainy so not great weather for doing videos. Hopefully will change soon! The Springs have been running here for a while here and the fishing has been Great so far! Looks like a good fishing season!!

Masset COOP is just a bit too far for us to shop at but we do love the COOP in Skidigate! Especially with the new store coming next year! Almost like shopping in the big city on Sale Days!!!! The Springs are here in Abundance!! Maybe your next fishing vacation should be Haida Gwaii!!!

I've been considering Haida Gwai and the resort at Langara looks very enticing, however, a little too rich for my blood. I thought you were living in Masset. I'm not familiar with the towns out there. In what community are you living ? If you don't mind me asking.

Langara is beautiful! I am down South in the Queen Charlotte area. Fishing charters and lodge accommodations can get pricey but look for early booking deals and also end of season times for some good pricing.

Hi Norm, Love your videos. I just ordered my Yukon 750. Can't wait for it to arrive here in the Lake Tahoe NV area. I'll post vids of my Tahoe rides soon. Curious about converting the tires to tubeless, and wondering if there was a reason you didn't choose to go tubeless instead. I've never had a tubeless bike so I have no knowledge of the pros and cons. Any thoughts? Best regards, Chris in Tahoe.

Thanks Chris! You Wil love your new Yukon 750 for sure! I stayed with the tube tire because I run a lot on the beaches and I run 5 to 8 lbs of air pressure in the tires for grip. Low pressure could cause a tubeless tire to unseat from the rim which is less likely with a tube tire. Looking forward to seeing your videos!

The beaches of Tahoe are mostly small pebbles, not fine sand, so I'd likely not need to use pressures as low as 5psi, but I'm looking forward to testing the Yukon on the beaches to find out! Videos coming soon. I think it's scheduled to arrive near the end of July or early August. They're backlogged.

Hi John, Sounds like you may have some dirt, dust or maybe some rust in the handle connections. Try cleaning it with electrical contact cleaner much like you would do a drill trigger.

I thought I showed it quite clear and easy to follow Jeff. I guess a bit of practice helps as I use it in all my tires even my truck and trailers. If you ever get a nail in your tire, you will appreciate what you have done. It also eliminates that soft saggy tire after sitting all Winter when you are all excited about your first Spring ride!

Slime makes a number of different products. I used the one for tubes as that is what the Voltbikes have.

Not exactly sure what you mean Paul but if you watched the video, I let the air out of the tube by removing the valve and then refilling the tire with air after filling it with Slime.

Quick question after putting the slime into the tube can I let air out of the tire later for snow and vise versa

For Sure you can!! Just make sure the valve is in the upper half of the tire, like I showed in the video, or else the Slime will come out upon deflation.

The bottle says for tubes and I have not had a flat yet in 4 years with either of my bikes so I think its the right one.

If I were to put this in and later wanted to deflate my tires slightly for sand/beach riding, would this screw up the air valve at all?

Not at all! Just make the tire is rotated so the valve is in the upper half of the rim just like I did when I filled them.

I slimed my lawn mower tires. They don't lose air anymore, but I can no longer check the pressure. The slime coats the entire tube, and even if you have the stem on top, slime will come out, and seal your gage. For airing up my tires, I set the regulator on my compressor to the correct pressure, and pump up the tires until air doesn't flow anymore.

Just add a pound or so of air and work around the tire by squeezing the sidewalls with your hands. It should set to the rim then inflate the rest of the way. Make sure the tube is not between the rim and the tire.

You can do either. I like to put it in before to prevent a flat tire but you can also put it in after to seal a puncture.

lets say that i have the slime already installed and lets say i got a flat tire puncture... would putting the slime again revert the puncture, making it not flat anymore or at this point you have to change the tube/tire? Also, how long does the slime last inside? When do i need to put more again? Thanks Norman :)

If slime is already installed, your tire won't go flat unless its a very large cut or hole. The slime will seal up the puncture and you will just notice a small green mark where the hole was. I have used slime for more than 4 years with no issues.

How much do you put in each tire? I google and it says 5 ounce per tires 20x4. Looks like you put more per tire.

I put 8oz in each tire as I ride mostly off road. 5oz is the recommended amount for street use.

I live in one of the rainier places in Canada and have no issues. I do keep my Voltbikes inside and out of constant moisture which may help. The bikes are electric and water and electricity don't work well together in most cases, but in 4 years, both my Voltbikes have had no issues riding in the rain.
