Hello TED.good morning first of all thank you for your tutorials that help us to work with these engines.TED i would like to ask you a problem that i have tamd 73 p edc and we have problem with the edc the engine does not start we have tested with the twin engine edc and if starts please my query is,this can be repaired in some way mode.greetings TED
for clarification, is the cranking speed similiar to the other engine? If so it is most likely a fuel delivery issue. It may be a faulty crankshaft sensor=no fuel. I would Start with ALL new fuel filters, check the filter contents for water. Next bleed the fuel lines up to the pump and then crack the injector lines open at the injectors. With the key on put it in throttle only mode and advance to full throttle. Crank it over and repeat untill you see fuel coming out of a few fuel lines. Tightwn fuel lines and see if it starts. These are mechanical systems just electronically controlled. Good Luck.
