I went with a three of my children 6,4,2. They had so much fun helping me fill in the bubbles. The lady who handed me my ballot said she wishes more parent brought their children with them.

I am so thankful Daniel is ok now. I have not seen your vlogs in a while and this was a shock to me. We have had a similar year only it was me dying and told I should have been dead ten days ago But as many told me...God had other plans and I do give him the praise.. So we find we are a more protective family. I am glad you two got a therapist. Many couples that go through such traumatic events in their lives often do not make it. It is hard and because each person processes in their own way often they shut down. I will be praying for all four of you. Sending much love and many prayers.

Way to go, Daniel. I am super proud that at age 54, I have never missed a vote, no matter how small some may think one is. My first election at 18 was for state governor and there definitely was a feeling of pride. Jay, even as an atheist, I am ok with polling places at churches as long as there is no preaching going on or display of who they feel should win. In my county, all precincts vote at township halls which are mostly attached to the township fire department/hall so there's lots of space. I am very happy that after 8 years, I finally get to say MY governor once again. I would not claim Rick Snyder and worked incredibly hard to get him recalled so I have never even referred to him as the governor. But, now, the lady who dared to say the word vagina from the floor of the legislature and was censured, who then helped organize the Vaginas Take Over the Michigan State Capitol rally which included a live performance of the Vagina Monologues on the steps WITH its author Eve Ensler, who was the first county clerk in Michigan to officiate a same sex marriage the day it became legal, and who is fighting for Michigan to continue building bridges and not walls, Governor Gretchen Whitmer is MY Governor! Sorry so long- just needed to get it out I guess. :-D

What I find it weird is the trade war thing actually united both Democrats and Republicans, because they found common ground.
