His reaction when she finally said what a screw up he was as a father, like he didn't see that coming but I also say he like knows he wasn't fair with them. Although the question is why?
He is so much worse than in the campaign. In the campaign he fixed the scroll and smile at the thought of Vex being a Lady. He was still a d*ck but not as much as in the series 😅
Percy setting off his own hand trap in Ep 11 was my favorite moment Its like he forgot he has the highest IQ out of everyone but absolutely zero charisma.
He has high Intelligence, but about average Wisdom. Pike and Keyleth have the highest Wisdom stat, but the one who acts with the most Wisdom is Grog. Who has the lowest Intelligence.
Since the sunken tomb you can see Percy and Vex turning to each other more often in times of crisis and watching after each other in battle and social situations. There is so much attention to detail in this show, you can really see the shift in dynamics and realionships.💙
whats even funnier is that during vex's drug trip you see hearts on percy while hes trying to talk to her. it happens for moment but once you see it you can't unsee it
The Sunken Tomb moment may have been Percy's biggest mistake but it was the moment that began their love story ❤️ He realized how much she meant to him and how close he was to losing her in that moment 🥺
I feel like Percy and Vex bonded over shared trauma from their parents being killed, and having a less-than-ideal paternal figure. Percy’s parents were killed by the Briarwoods, and his teacher Professor Anders betrayed the family, while Vex’s mother was killed by a dragon and her father is an asshole. They both have PTSD, as Percy’s mood goes from happy to visibly distressed the second he hears the Briarwoods are coming over, and Vex’s Preferred Foe class feature she gets as a Ranger is flavoured as her having a PTSD episode when she’s in the proximity of a dragon. And they both prefer ranged combat with weapons over magic, as Percy invented firearms to avenge his family, and Vex has a bow and arrow. I feel like due to the similarities, Percy and Vex fell for each other, with Percy being more comfortable to talk about things with Vex than with anybody else, as he knows he can lean on her.
Looking forward to seeing more of their relationship bloom, especially if we see *that* Percy moment that fully sparks Vex's feelings. Also kinda hoping they keep Grog as their #1 supporter as a tribute to Travis being the #1 Percy/Vex shipper. 😅
@@warband2272 Oh yeah, I get it was to get Percy and Vax closer while naked, there’s no way Vax wouldn’t have felt Vex in there. And even if he hadn’t, that means Vex would have been hiding in a…very interesting position…though I guess that just makes it funnier. 😜
Just wished with Garmelie in the show he kept his repeated warnings about not going to the theatre. And it was a bit of shame that since Scanlan wasn't with them in Syngorn they couldn't replicate the scene where he makes the guards think Vox Machina is a giant polyamorous group (and is "helped" by a naïve Keyleth) to keep them from being suspicious of them all going into one room together to "rest".
@@stingerjohnny9951 The only other times they went to Syngorn was pre-stream and it's mentioned they visited it a few time during the one year in-game time skip between episodes 94 and 95. They only visited Syngorn in the Feywild onstream when they were on their mission to get Fenthrus. It was just on the table, they all went.
@@timfortune9 Gotcha, Thanks. Im honestly not rewatching it until after the show since I like having a fresh perspective on the show and appreciating it for what it is.
For those who want to know spoiler alert. In the original source material from the novels, percy and vex eventually get married, have 5 kids in white stone and percy died at 120 of natural cuases.
I like how Percy realizes even though he was trying to show respect to her and it backfired and started a fight with her father he realizes his mistake in doing such and apologizes for starting that argument. It really shows how’s he’s conscious of the ways he affects others and he tries to help the people he cares about as much as possible even when he tried to help and it ended up hurting vex he realized it may be best to apologize and console her. Sometimes when we do good things for others it may hurt them but it’s best to let them know our intentions and that we’re sorry that we hurt them
He’s a toxic incel who feeds on peoples sadness and loss, turning them into minions to stifle his loneliness. Had Vex accepted, she would have turned into a dryad and become a borderline slave to him. He’s basically that creep that says he can “fix” a woman. Listen to his dialogue in the episode, it’s prime r/niceguy shit.
I never followed CR, but the tree person was a Greater Fae, a powerful, almost-godlike entity native to the Fae Realms (also called Feywild in more recent D&D settings). They are manipulative deal makers who are always looking for self-indulgence and strife; they feed off strong emotions, especially impulsive ones like anger, sadness, and love. They captivate mortals with illusions of their greatest desires, and when the mortal gives consent, then control or consume them. Vex almost fell for it, but (likely through successfully making a Wisdom saving throw in-game) threw off the entrallment.
1:58 Kikis face! She definitely egged him on 😂 My headcanon is that Percy is Asexual He just has that vibe, Just me? Also WHY is Legend of Korra advertised under these videos???? ??????? They are not even close to being alike This is NOT a kids show older teens and adults ONLY😂
Oh my sweet summer child 😂 You haven't seen anything of Percy yet. Don't worry, there's a canonically ace character in the second campaign, which is supposed to get an animated adaptation as well
2:01 Not worth it so she will like you do it because you want to be nice Not so she will like you Waste of time to please woman so she will like you + So not like that in the real world
