You could definitely hear the difference on your video. You’ve got to love it when you can repair a car with just a few clicks on the old keyboard and an understanding of what your working on.
I would say the real cause was not addressed. You found a way around the problem, but the problem remained. My guess is that for some reason the computer miscalculated the amount of fuel. And the reason was in some sensor, I guess the O2 sensor. The computer can change the values so that the sensors give the correct value to the computer, but this is not correct, because the crack through which some of the sensors get additional air remains. Sorry, but I don't consider playing with the car's computer to fix the car, rather to cover up the problem, making the next mechanic's job even more difficult because you hid any symptoms that might point to an air leak. But if the car was for quick sale, good job with fixing the problem :) and as a warning to others, even a properly working car can bring surprises later.
Nope. ALH AINT GOT NO OXYGEN SENSOR. Minor wear here there and everywhere makes the adjustment change over time. I've done this same thing 8 or 9 times. This specific customer still comes to me.
I have something similar. The IQ is way low but at idle it jumps about along with the voltage on the modulating piston. My cold start duty cycle is also doing erratic things on idle. Once some throttle is applied everything stabilises but the IQ is still very low. Injection timing is adjusted spot on. This all started when i swapped from the old MSA15 ECU to an EDC15VM+ ECU (ALH) so i could run my AHU on a VNT turbo. Prior to this it was all ok. I had to use a different loom which i belled out a couple of times to confirm and record what was what. I can only think it's a wiring issue but i have no fault codes.
YES !! After injection pump o-ring replace, and timing to perfect.. thganks for those vids too, it idled rough.I will be trying this in the morning.. Thanks.
nice video ty. i have audi b6 2003 1.9tdi and mine does that sometimes when i stop at red light or something. that adaptation what did it do to egr cicle and for fuel consum. couse i sow similar video abaut egr cicle and for that the number u entered must go in max value. gretings from croatia (ps sory for my bad writing)
Thanks for watching and commenting. Watch my other video about the EGR trouble code. The IQ adjustment wont change fuel consumption. EGR adaptation is a different adaptation.
Hello! I have a 1.9 tdi agr 90 hp stock, the IQ is 2.8 / 3.0 MG with a temperature of 92 ° at idle and with everything off, are these values correct? If I increase the IQ more (close to 3.6 / 3.8 MG) I will to achieve better performance? thank you so much
Hi injection quantity is bouncing around 1.5 and 2.5 mg it supoossed to be around 3.0 to 9.0 mg what could be the problem all 4 injectors are reading within range audi a4 b7 2.0 tdi 2006 thanks
@@abdulbeany1894 if you have an injection pump you dont need someone that does remaps. You need someone with vcds or factory equivalent scan tool and knowledge.
@@CoolAirVw yes it has an injection pump but i dont think its adjustable as its a tandem pump which controls the brakes too and mine is a pd engine so i dont think you can adjust through vcds
@@bernardaflores1720 inform you if VCDS lite can handle your car (cars befor 2005 = all 1,9 tdi (VEP, PD)) VCSD lite 99USD + generic OBDII Adapter = the perfect tool for VW owners
I have done about everything but this to a BHW it has the shudder at idle and when slowing down, camshaft has been replaced, balance shaft delete, new engine mounts, trans mounts and it still shakes and shudders the doors steering wheel and glass, I’m going to have to look into this
Bonjour monsieur Une fois de plus je vous tire chapeau pour cette magnifique vidéo Honnêtement avec vous j'adore et j'apprends beaucoup Que dieu vous protège
But wouldn't the underlying problem really be bad injectors? While that worked for now its really not fixed and the next guy that puts injectors in it will not know what you did and correct it.
thanks, I already solved a problem of three, I am missing two, the start of the actual injection varies a lot and the deviation of the injection quantity in the cylinders is, cylinder 1 = 1.88mg / str, cylinder 2 = 1.88, cylinder 3 = -1.88, cylinder 4 = -1.88. can you help me please, THANK YOU.
Hello I have a problem with a golf 4 ALH . The cylinder head gasket was burned and I went to the mechanic to open the engine and yesterday the pinched cylinder head gasket. I made the flat at the cylinder head plus changed valves etc. I made it head tail. The mechanic looked at the engine saying k is a bit worn out he suggested I segment it plus bearings bearings etc made tail head .... I also bought the new clutches plus the refurbished turbine at the clutches The problem is k THE MACHINE NEVER MAKES NO POWER I changed the flowmeter sensor sensor map sensor n75 sensor n18 Log in running turbine puts pressure on parameters but does not fire or run Vacuum checked everything ok Without errors I was at several mechanics and did not give up. no power PLEESE HELP
I'm not familier with BLS. Is that a European model engine? In USA anything 09 and up would be a common rail diesel, so if yours is like our 09's then it would not be the same.
How did you get the lowest and highest values, in order to know what to set it at? Awesome video. Learning more and more for my vcds. Thank you buddy 💪
