Amazing calm commentary with good insights for every chef out there. There is one thing we all would like you to add to your videos tho: Let your reactions of tasting stay a bit longer. You cut away just when we are about to see you enjoy your all of your hard work, which we wanna see! Right guys?

I just dig the expression on your face when you take a taste. simply marvelous. I really love the complex Taste of wagyu beef.I bought a pound of gold grade tenderloin in a few weeks oh my what meat butter it was. got back online and bought me 10 more pounds put them in vacuum sealer bags and put them in the freezer. I also bought 5 lb of Wagyu steak cuts, I used one pound to make some beef stew and oh my goodness. With your recommendation I want to get a wagyu tri-tip and give it a try thanks for the tip. Another fine show Ry keep them coming. two thumbs up

I fired up my offset at 8:55 AM, and put on a 2.5 pound tri-tip per yesterdays plan. I come inside to check my e-mail, and I get this ad from you on you-tube LOL. I heavy rubbed it with salt/pepper and it's over a pan of water right now cooking at around 275 degrees. Any advice on how long to let smoke it at 275 on oak wood ? I like medium well ( tiny pink ). Thanks in advance!

From all the wagyu you’ve been cooking and trying, what is your favorite cut up to this point.?? They are still out of ribeye so I’m thinking of ordering another cut. Im leaning towards the tri tip

I suspect I already know the answer based on this video, but how would sous vide work for this cut of meat? I like to sous vide prime tri tip for 2-3 hours, cool rapidly, and then re-heat at 225 until 128 and then sear both sides. I guess my question is, is sous vide "overkill" for waygu? Just found your channel and looking forward to binge watching.
@CookingWithRy
@CookingWithRy 5 лет назад
That's a good question. I've never done sous vide but have watched many videos of people getting great results. I do wonder about the result, as you said, with wagyu. Would that lower temp in the water bath render the fat well enough? The only way to know for sure might be to try :)
@linesidehunter373
@linesidehunter373 5 лет назад
I cook Tri tips all the time and usually pull it off for the sear at 120°, sear to 130°. Just curious why and how you came on to searing at 110, and returning back to indirect?
@CookingWithRy
@CookingWithRy 5 лет назад
To avoid going over that 130 target and to let it 'rest' a bit without that direct heat. Seems to work well :)
