Walking from St. Catherine's Breakwater to Archirondel (Part 2)  

Like yourself, Tom, I too thoroughly enjoyed this walk "today". Jersey at its best, and in wonderful contrast to earlier this year and the dreek, overcast winter days. And thank you for the music, which I thought brought a soothing accompaniment for our pleasure.

Hiya Tom , after just watching part one now sitting down with a ham salad with the lovely Jersey Royals just yummy 😋 😋 I can imagine along this walk the smell of seaweed and warm sea air making the walk worthwhile, at the end you mentioned about a hotel with a nightclub , now I can recall going to this place back in the mid 70s and it made me look for photos of us 4 young lads in there . The photos show the waitresses in the nightclub wearing very eye catching outfits ,gorgeous girls but i recall them being Portugese.You have now probably walked around half the island and looking forward to the rest. As always brilliant videos and commentary.👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

😮 wow what a walk Tom and Paddy 🐕🥩🦴 the (scout) this walk not recommended at night lol steep drops etc 🤔 I must say thanks to the french labourers who picked my wonderful Jersey royals I got 3 packs for 99p at Aldi store if c t is reading this try there Christine if none at Tesco's! I didn’t think it could get any better than Rozel to St Catherine’s bay. This is such a lovely walk and it’s a. Good job you have the walking boots as there is some uneven ground on this walk. You are right Tom where the driftwood cafe is that was indeed where they were going to extend out to make a narrow entrance to the harbour. I think in 1804 a treaty was sighed between the French and Britain so work was stopped. Also they discovered that later on that the water wasn’t deep enough for the ships. I did a course at Highlands college back in the eighties and Dougie Ford from the Jersey Museum was a mind of information pasted on his knowledge and it was very interesting. Thanks for the story about the golf trolley of your friend. We use a golf buggy as the course that I play and you have to be fit to walk it and with my knees I need a buggy. When we visit Jersey next year the Royal is easy to walk an La Moye. Cheers Tom and the lovely Paddy.

The footpath was a great find, Tom😊. Assuming you didnt edit it, only about 11 minutes fron the breakwater to the bay👍

Lovely walk Tom & paddy G, but very scary on the wall edge, rather you than me, lol, thought paddy was going to jump off at one point my legs went to jelly. Make the most of the nice weather it might not last, I wouldn't want to be you when you get home, Angie is going to have you for not painting.

is the hotel still at st carthrine’s its sort of sideways on towards the road junction as u drive past the rnli . hotel is just is just coming ito view i think (on screen at 9:01 /2407 there a better view of it at 11:39/2407) i think it the hotel anyway but might be further on it on the right as u drive towards st cathrines . Im not entirely sure .
