I tore my shoulder up at the bicep tendon some 10 years ago. I then would go on to tear up the bicep and shoulder some more. Through a long slow process of deep tissue massage with a sports therapist, using stretches that arm wrestlers use to strengthen the tendons and muscles in the shoulder as well as following some different techniques baseball players use, I was shocked when I had an MRI and my doctor said he didn't see any tears at all. Just a lit bit of tendonitis, but nothing extreme. I am so glad to be back in the gym. I spend a lot of time warming up my shoulders before I do anything to be safe. Man I pray to god I can get back I don’t know what’s wrong with my shoulder but it’s been almost 2 years now I lost all my muscle mass in my shoulders and chest because of it it sucks man and I’m scared to do the these workouts because of how much it hurts I don’t know if I’m doing more damage
I apologize to everyone in this thread. I am just seeing these posts now. If anyone wants me to when I get home I can post ALL the stretches I used. You will need to go to a sports massage therapist to break down the scar tissue while doing this. And it is VERY painful. No kidding, some of the worst pain in my life. But my shoulder to this day is still 100% back to normal.
I did the first stretch & it changed my life. I felt immediate relief. My shoulder had been bothering me for nearly 20 years and I tried everything. Thanks, Elliot!
those banded stretches are essential for my nagging shoulder pain but this won't fix the shoulder pain depending on the severity it just helps get your shoulders loose for a workout
While doing some pull ups and cycling , now my left index finger tingling and numb, not sure if left shoulder blade pinching the nerve ? Good stretch video BTW
smart guy elliot. he showed what most people will have problem with. the chest and lats insert at the top of the humerus, anteriorally. so yeah, these muscles pull your shoulder forward, if they are tight. stretch them regularly! doesn't hurt to focus on different angles pec minor/biceps/subscapularis aswell. include all the internal rotator muscles that tend to round your shoulders
Waited after doing these exercises 4x each holding till I could feel the stretch then moving on to the next. I was still thinking about heading to the emergency but waiting 30 minutes no more pain. Thank you brother
I've supraspinatus impingement since last 10 to 12 years , i do second and third stretch and it really helps me . Will definitely try the first one also ..
I unfortunately think I’m being faced with supraspinatus issues as I’ve been going hard in the gym this summer, getting an MRI this week to see what’s going on
Simple wraps, honestly it let my wrists and elbows catch up. Now, nothing. If I need to wrap anything, I'm going too fast or thought I didn't have to warm up today.
@@mbsfaridi relaxed state. So wider that shoulder with, but not so wide to make any pulling feeling in the late. The finders facing forward. Apparently, the shoulder joint need that type of stretch, since we came down from the trees, shoulder joint is designed for a lot of pulling and all sorts of hanging type of load.
