Excellent video. Anyone working hospital security has the wonderful opportunities of watching human behavior for years. I remember working security in the ER room for hours and just watching staff interact with patients and fraternize with each other and then watching patients. It’s kind of intriguing if you ask me.

My current full time position, all we can have is handcuffs. Due to past incidents with other companies, the state no longer allows us to have spray either. We had to do subject control and handcuffing classes before we became eligible for the position. I’m tired of handcuffing classes. Done it a million times in under five years due to contracts, lol. Won’t discuss in full details of my current position but I can say, I’m basically a correctional officer again working as security for a state contract working with mental health and violent behaviors with only handcuffs and nothing else besides my mind, my mouth, my feet and hands. So I feel ya! I’m just aggravated that they placed me with people with no form of backgrounds besides security only. Only one person of three I can count on to have my and others back but he’s not always there. I already told my boss we need former corrections or LEOs to come work this site because ones with only a security, observe and report background, have proven to be plain ol’ useless and a waste of space.
