Warning Signs of Lymphoma 

I had non-Hodgins lymphoma in 2009 & I didn't know that I had it. It was stage 3 & I had 8 chemos and have been cancer free since then. I'm 75 now & very healthy. 😀

I was diagnosed with HL 30 years ago at age 22. I was tired, achy, had a low-grade fever, and lost some weight. But my most prevalent symptom was the severe ITCHING! There was no rash, I just dug holes in my skin because I itched so badly. And I couple of different doctors thought I had scabies! Long story short, they did eventually figure out what I had was far more serious, so I had a lymph node biopsy, and sure enough, it was cancer. I had 9 months of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation and I’ve been cancer free for 29 years!

Our bodies tell us and then our Doctors tell us it’s nothing and send us on our way. I have been to many Doctors all the time as a survivor of Cancer no one touches the patient anymore. It’s very rare. Our system is broken.

My hero my dad passed away from this I spent my 22nd birthday at a hospice with my dad fighting too not die on my birthday for me 100percent a hero too me miss you dad x

I turned 17 today and have been waiting for my results for test of ultrasound on my neck for lymphoma please pray for me😢

I've been battling Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma for 15 years. I've had chemo and radiation. And have been going in for immune build up meds.

I lost my mother to this cancer. My advise to anyone having some sort of lump on your neck or any other place where lymph nodes are, experiencing very itchy skin all over the body, having trouble eating and pooping, don't ever bother to go to any nearby clinics cause they would most probably dismiss it with something minor not cancerous and ask you to wait to see if the lump would go away. If it is actually a cancer, you really don't want to wait just go directly to the specialists at any private hospital (avoid public hospital if possible) that could really tell what it really is in significantly shorter time and buy you more time to fight the cancer before it is too late. Chemo will just worsen the problem when it is too late.

Cold sweats, hot shivers, no get up n go, no energy to spare or stamina Lack of sleep, itchy skin, can be overwhelming, you put on a brave face for the family Stomach bloated and flatulence, without any influence, you fart and you burp uncontrollably Always sleepy and tired, in a world of your own, thinking how to keep hold of your sanity It's so surreal, these things that you feel, and friends will show their true colours The ones that you love, will be there for your good, and treat you like they are your mothers Loved ones are worried, is this the end, of the one they love so dearly The fight is on, the battle begins, the future no longer viewed clearly It's just the start, it will take time, test your strength and mental ability At times you may need, to be alone and daydream, finding solace in your own tranquility Your physical strength will pull you through, although it will be diminished Stay mentally strong, for however long, it takes until it's finished The treatment is hard, makes you feel bad, but it's eatng away at the issue Immune system suffers, take care where you go, avoid anyone with a sniffle and tissue And in the end you'll find, your own peace of mind, as your progress is shared periodically The therapy is working, destroying not shirking, eating the problem methodically

Wow I have so many of these. I have lymph nodes showing up as cancer .I am seeing the sergeon Wednesday to schedule a biopsy. I found a lump in my groin . Got ultrasound..then CT scan with contrast. Now I need biopsy 🤦🏻‍♀️ wish me luck 🙏

I have been having night sweats for awhile I have like 3 knots on my neck skin itching and irritated little white spots on my skin mainly my legs for awhile got a physical in May 2023 praying i don't have anything serious going on thanks everyone for sharing prayers for us all

My sister was diagnosed with Stage 3 lymphoma in 2006. She underwent chemo and also had stem cell therapy, nothing worked! Illness progressed for 31/2 years to all her body and she finally passed away in 2009. It’s a dreadful illness and hard to watch a loved one deteriorate from it.

I watched this vid with interest. I had lymphoma. I did not have night sweats or weight loss. In fact did not have any of these " warning signs " except fatigue. Night sweats are a common symptom of an infection, could be anything. My symptom was pain. Felt like being crushed from the inside out. Tumor in the bone of the spine, hit the spinal chord causing paralysis from rib cage to big toe. I guess was lucky that the tumor pressed upon the spinal chord before spreading. Lymphoma responds well with radiation treatment.

The brown rashes I have on both sides of my neck is also moving by one side of my under arm it itches and is small for now .

My father died of lymphoma. He had no signs of weakness no weight loss no rashes no common colds or flu but only uncomfortness when sleeping.. went to see a doctor and he sd stage 3 lymphoma. Died after 3 months...not even stage 4 yet. How come?

I'm a little worried because i have this small bump on the back right side of my neck. If i had to guess it's probably been there since 2020 but has probably been longer. I also remember telling my mom at the time that the lymph nodes under my chin seemed swollen but i never went to the doctor and they swelled down. Well now the right lymph node under my chin seems to be swelled again. I haven't been to the doctor since 2016 and I've been wanting to set up an appointment because i want to know if anything is seriously wrong with me. I don't have any symptoms so i feel like i might not have it but hopefully i can go to the doctor and get screened for this as well as an type of cancer

My partner died in 2009 from Non Hodgekins T.Cell Lymphoma it took 18 months from diagnosis until death. 8 really want someone to explain to me (Still) the difference between Non Hodgekins lymphoma and Non Hodgekins T. Cell Lymphoma, because it's the end of 2022 now and I'm still left in the dark, as to why he died so quickly.

If your doctor isnt willing to pursue a medical issue, tell them that you want it written in your file that they refused to do anything about it. If they wont do it, send them a message on the portal demanding that they do. They know that is setting them up for malpractice if something is wrong and will likely help. If not, find someone else and via the portal, make sure they know there is a problem. Then call a lawyer if something serious is wrong and likely worsened because they wouldnt help.

I'm 16 and got a small pea sized lump on my left side of jaw and one on back sude of my neck . I don't have any fevers or night sweats . But I often feel fatigue even though I get adequate amount of sleep everyday(Its fair to remaind that I work intensively in gym everyday). I’ve had at least two lumps on my neck that have gone u treated. I’ve mentioned them at dr visits but there was never any concern. They have been there for years . Currently, I am dealing with uncontrollable itching with no rash and my arms completely numb where I can not move them . This happens sometime during sleep. It’s not from laying on them. I can remain in the same position and it will still happen . I’ve been dealing with extreme fatigue . I was under a great deal of stress before but now not so much so the fatigue is concerning. Also hair loss. I was going to ask if. I should get checked for this but writing everything out seems as though I should be checked. Its awful when things you find concerning about your body are made to seem as though they are nothing.

Is it possible to have lymphoma undiagnosed for years? I was full of life until I turnt 19. I lost weight and I keep the same weight even if I eat a lot and hit the gym. I was much stronger and looked better in my teens. Drenching night sweats happen to me very often. I have also a condition called "accessory spleen" but I read it could be misdiagnosed. I feel discomfort under my left rib. Not a pain but a fullness or itching sensation. Blood tests comes out normal. Doctors says I'm good but I feel different. I'm confused. Now I'm 27.

I think i might be having this😢. I have been to the hospital complaining about them nodes swelling in the armpit, jaw and neck but always treated with antibiotics but they never go away. They recently started enlarging and becoming painful

I have a large lump on my hip it didnt appear until my last child back in 1991 my doctor said no need to do anything if it's not causing pain....does that sound right ? Or should I ask for further testing??

I had hodgekins lymphoma and never noticed anything i was already slim and working long hours. I didnt know for a year that i had it. It was a large lump on the left side of my neck at the front that made me see a doctor back in 2006 now i check all the time for lumps. Always check all lymph node areas and if the lump is solid and fixed meaning it doesnt move around and feel squidgy then have it looked at straight away dont hesitate. Hodgekins is slow growing non hodgekins is more aggressive.

🥺😳 I'm concerned I found a large soft Lump near neck right where the picture on this You Tube Video has the Red Circle and the Oncologist I had seen looked at my Ultra Sound and said it doesn't look like Cancer from the Ultra Sound and also because the Lump is soft. But I read that Lymphoma Lumps are Soft not Hard. None of my Doctors requested Blood test to detect Cancer. They just really don't care. This was 6 mo. ago and now I cannot even get an appointment with anyone

I'm terrified. I've only noticed two bumps on the back of my neck since Monday, three days later and things aren't looking good. I had discomfort in my neck. No pain just aching. Noticed another smaller bump near my collar bone. And one on the other side of my neck. They're movable but I'm still scared. Had pins and needles in my hands and arms....Gonna book a appointment tomorrow.

Hi I’m 14 almost to 15 and there has been a swollen lymph node on my labia(outer) and it’s moved spots before so it is moveable. It’s about a cm maybe and it’s painless. I don’t have fevers, sweats at night or anything. The other day I shaved my groin and now there is another lymph node and I’m dying inside. It’s about the same size and it hurts when I touch it and it’s kind of red at the top. And they’re both under my skin like you can’t visibly see it unless you grab it. Other problems I’m having is syringoma on my vagina idek what that is but I’m scared to tell my mom. I’m also having discharge but I only have a lot when I’m in school and after school exercising. I’m very active and I play sports. On my labia (inner) it’s dark but not very dark and it has these little bumps or whatever and idk what it is. My vagina itches sometimes but I’ve been able to control it. I have very bad skin issues. I also have a bad smell coming from my groin and idk if it’s sourdough cause I’ve never smelt it before but I think it’s that. Someone please help me out I don’t want to die..🙏🏽 Edit: I haven’t gone to a doctor yet but the lump is smaller than a pencil eraser. But here comes bad news 😅 I just found 2 lymph nodes AGAIN. They’re right next to each other one is bigger than the other. The bigger one is probably a good 2cm or 1.5cm. The smaller is probably smaller a cm but still don’t know guys I plan on telling my mom soon and my anxiety is going up and up and up everyday. (Btw the bigger lump just grew in today so it was random and hurts when I press on it..)

I have bump that grow even with antibiotics.. and now dr is up-dosing my antibiotics while waiting for biopsy on 3/8. Right now the bump is growing kinda fast imo and lowkey start hurting a bit, idk how to feel about this tbh.
