The engine blowing was inevitable on a high mileage 996, and as you know, a replacement engine, or a proper rebuild would have cost more. Instead you did something "interesting" which results in interesting videos that people want to watch, so you'll make the money back in time from your video ad revenue. And, it seems like you are enjoying driving it, so was it worth it? Hell yeah!

Had a ‘99 996 for several years. Was thinking about race car conversion but just sold it. Had a friend put a Kompressor on his 996. It’s hilarious to see your dash cam as everything’s breaking loose ha friggin cool. This came together nicely! 🍻

Jack Oliver Rob Ferretti did two videos, "Exotic Chop Shop" and "Ferrari Graveyard". Those were sad seeing all those cars that people wrecked or went up in flames, but at least they strip the usable parts and resell.

With all the weight over the rear wheels, makes this car a launch monster. I had a v8 pontiac fiero once, and it was insane how well it accelerated from a stop.

If you want cruise control you can run a drive by wire harness, all the cruise wires are with the TAC module and easy to hook up. If you want to keep it cable throttle just get the cruise module from a 99-02 silverado or a ls camaro. It's just a box with a cable that runs to the throttle body
