I'd say the first 4 Rambo films are worth reacting to. Rambo II and III are tonally different from the first film, more like comic book action, and Rambo IV... well just don't watch that one on a full stomach.

Rambo 1 is not set in the jungle, but it's without a doubt the best one and something you should definitely see. "I think the tracker guy is my favorite character" On the set, the studio hired a bodyguard to protect everyone else from Billy (Sonny Landham).

I think the only CG in this movie is the invisibility effect and the predators vision.

OK, I'm only one minute in and you're getting a "like." You like the music? Alan Silvestri is one of the best in history and this opening sequence is freaking epic; and 90% of the reactors just cut it out and go to the first scene inside. The helicopters coming in to that percussive, punchy opening music gets me set for the whole movie. Just sets the mood, and you happened to notice. THANK YOU!

Remaining 'must see' Arnold movies check Total Recall (1990) and True Lies (1994) for action, and Kindergarten Cop (1990) for "comedy".

Folks who follow politics will recall that two of the actors in this movie went on to become Governors. Arnold in California, and Jesse Ventura in Minnesota. If you have never seen it, "Apocalypse Now" and "The Deer Hunter" are both epic films about the Viet Nam war.

My #1 favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movie!!! Fun fact: Jean Claude van Damme played the Predator in the movie, but quit production as he was tired of wearing the suit, and wanted the Predator to kickbox Arnold but the producers refused, so Kevin Peter Hall was cast in the role, 7'2". The Predator was designed and created by Stan Winston Studios. Stan Winston did VFX work for: JURASSIC PARK The Lost World: Jurassic Park 2 JURASSIC PARK 3 The RELIC PREDATOR 2 A I, Artificial Intelligence Interview With The Vampire The Thing ( Dog Kennel Sequence) LEVIATHAN ALIENS Lake Placid Galaxy Quest TERMINATOR TERMINATOR 2 TERMINATOR 3 Terminator: Salvation which was his last film until he passed away from Blood Cancer at age 62. It was dedicated in his memory.

Fun Fact:Arnold Schwarzenegger(Alan "Dutch" Schaeffer) and Jesse Ventura(Blain Cooper) both went on to become Governors of their home states,California(Where I live) and Minnesota respectively.Also, Shane Black(Rick Hawkins) went on to write and direct "Iron Man 3".

A few things people don't often know. The reason why Billy cut his chest at the end was to insult the predator. The predator is a warrior culture and they are strength and honor depends on fighting and defeating the toughest pray. However should they kill pray that is wounded not by their hand it is considered a dishonor. When Billy did that he was insulting the predators honor. Also the helicopter pilot at the very end was Kevin Peter Hall

no cgi at all , just Camera techniques.. Originally Jean-Claude Van Damme was playing the predator And it looked much different there's videos floating around on RU-vid you should watch it

Watch Rambo First blood to introduce yourself to the Character then follow up with the Rambo first blood part 2 for some 80's Jungle Action. Deffinately also follow up with Commando, and True Lies for Arni fest.

Oh, that is a good one...best movies involving the jungle...what to recommend? First one that jumps to my mind is African Queen with Bogart and Hepburn, Tears of the Sun with Bruce Willis also ticks most of the boxes for me too. Other obvious choices include Apocalypto and Avatar...and then I throw in an obscure choice, check out The Naked Jungle from 1954 with Charlton Heston.

Great choices I watched African Queen again a couple weeks ago one of my favorite adventure love stories and the naked Jungle was that the one with the ants? I remember watching that as a kid awesome movie also how about “”the naked prey”with Cornel Wilde there were some disturbing scenes in that one but great adventure thanks

@@thunderstruck5484 Yes...Naked Jungle is the one with the ants...you remembered correctly. I also like The Naked Prey...but the subject matter in that one is very...um...over the moral line of present day society...yeah, that is a good way to say it. LOL I mean, there is stuff in The Naked Jungle that lots of people nowadays would find questionable...but The Naked Prey takes that and turns it up to 11...if you know what I mean. 💯😁

If you like Arnie's action movies, you could try 'Commando'. Another rather odd film of his is 'Total Recall', it's . . . . interesting

"Total Recall" was based on a novel of the same name by Philip K. Dick, one of the most prolific cyberpunk authors of all time along with Robert A. Heinlein("Starship Troopers","The Puppet Masters") ,Isaac Asimov("I,Robot")and Harlan Ellison("The Man With The Glass Hand", one of the subconscious influences for "The Terminator").He`s best known for his short story "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" which was loosely adapted into "Blade Runner" starring Harrison Ford and the late,great Rutger Hauer(R.I.P.).Ironically,Hauer`s character Roy Batty died at the end of The Film which was set in 2019 and his IRL death was also in 2019.
