'Fox reporter: What do you think of this blatantly offensive thing? College students: I don’t appreciate the light-hearted dehumanization of fellow human beings Fox reporter: lmao listen to this sjw bullshit #lol #kek #triggered' -nerdgasrnz
+Jothy the word ghetto is blatantly offensive? How so? It's just a word that describes something. We used it during the 90s and 00s as slang, and the black community used it extensively in pop culture. Nobody got offended whomever used it. Then the millenials came around and entered college and suddenly decided that the word was offensive, and that the world must comply with their decree. it's nuts.
+Kat Sam because "ghetto" no longer became the word folks used when referencing places where typically low income families live, it became an adjective for things that were less than or not attractive or subpar.
+Kat Sam The Nazi used the word 'ghetto' as a name for where they placed the jewish people in (when they stripped them of their homes) ands forced them to all live in small and poor living conditions before they were sent to the camps such as auschwitz. Sure, maybe people might of thought it was an okay word to use back then but the word comes from dark origin and these students are aware, thus the reason they say that they'd "use a different choice of words". There is nothing wrong with students being thoughtful and careful of what they say, however there is something very wrong with grown men making fun of students for their intelligence and social awareness. Need I say more?
Wearing your hair long and that being called "a privilege" is factually an oppressive act. I understand the nuisance that is "white privilege" but its fascinating how you don't even see how you contradict your own logic... Also in speech - "ghetto" is a noun and to use it as an adjective is a colloquial choice so 1st its just grammatically incorrect which is just a fact and not immoral but conveniently ignored and than its obvious that it becomes dependent on context if its offensive or not.
This is brilliant. It's like a bizarro version of a Daily Show segment, where someone who can't tell jokes or do funny quips interviews sane, grounded people.
+proterozoic - sane / grounded people are offended by.... everything ? Sound insane to me. For anyone to actually think they have "white privilege" is insane. I know lots of broke white people that never got to go to Princeton.
Those people aren't offended or butt-hurt by someone saying "Happy Holidays". They think they shouldn't have to be afraid of offending someone by saying "Merry Christmas".
"man these college students these days get offended by everything!!" *gets told "happy holidays"* "THERE IS A GODDAMN WAR ON CHRISTMAS!!! White Christians are under attack!!"
+Ryan P Of course there isn't a war on Christmas, atheists love Christmas - who doesn't like presents? We don't give a shit if it's a made up fable, it means extra holidays, presents and logs on the fire,
+Sommer57 They're no less intelligent than the baby boomers. Thanks for the Recession by the way. Really, it's wonderful, I love inflation, please do it again and shift the concentration of wealth even more towards you selfish fuckwits. At least they'll make the undertaker some cash in a decade or so, LOL.
The Hummel Figurine I'm a millennial too. I was born in the mid-80s. My parents are no-nonsense, and raised me accordingly, so I can see through this anti-intellectual crap.
Sommer57 As someone who was born and raised in Japan, Americans seem to have very little scope when it comes to "no nonsense", but I'll humor you. Check these stats, "intellectual". Millennials are the most educated generation in American history, 63% of them have a Bachelor's (including me in Bio). Ironically, many have lower wages than the nation's median income. A high school degree used to be enough to make it into the middle class, if you knew. Now young people need college degrees to even come close to that, and it doesn't help that the cost of education is massive, yet it seems that millennials are the most educated generation, but still remain the poorest. "What intelligence" indeed.
bruh, this isn't even an ad hominem fallacy because there's no argument being made besides the critique of this being a cringey video. Which is a completely valid opinion to state. There's not even a debate happening here, what are you doing?
***** Time for a logics lesson, lib. Any sort of vilification to undermine another person's character in hopes of invalidating their actions or statements is an ad hominem. Thus, all vilifications are conclusions without sound premises and ultimately are ad hominems. Now, in terms of contextuality, logic needs no precise ambit, it is applicable everywhere, lib.
The lack of respect for the students here is absolutely disgusting?? Like okay you're trying to make a point but acting like a teenager and blatantly making fun of the students is not the way to do that. I mean it's Fox News so I wasn't expecting much anyway, but come on, the presenter could at least act like a mature adult - telling that girl to go "suck her thumb" is NOT an example of good journalism.
+Ken Martin Here is a thought, maybe it wasn't funny? And I don't mean "not funny" as in offensive, but "not funny" as it the only thing it has to offer is a lazy attempt to be offensive. It is pretty much a cleaner, less potty-mouthed version of Tom Green.
+Hannah Johansen Wow. So do you watch television or movies? Ever notice that in the name of humor, people will make insensitive/disrespectful comments? U ever watch and enjoy a stand up comedy performance? Saturday Night Live? Hell, even Barack Obama has made several disrespectful comments in the name of humor. Sometimes you have to look at things at face value. No need to go getting all butt-hurt over any sign of "disrespect". Why must everyone be so hypersensitive and politically correct these days? It's getting out of hand.
+iGene I'm not sure what democracy has to do with this RU-vid video at all. Being kind and respectful to other people has nothing to do with being a democrat.. Well, actually, maybe it does. Either way, I'll debate with you even if it's off topic. Your argument makes no sense at all-- in fact you're supporting the Democratic Party with your statements. You realize the government gets so much of our money through taxes because businesses won't pay their workers enough to support their families, right? What democrats want to do is increase minimum wage and lower the power that large businesses and corporations have, so that we can all be middle class rather than having a ton of people living in poverty and a few billionaires. I would go more in depth with this but you're trying to sound gangster through your typing style so I have a feeling you're underage and it's not worth it.
Okay. So here's the thing. I think today, people have a biased argument that being a Democrat is being 'socially aware'. I've heard it all around, and I beg to differ, especially since I have strong conservative values, as I do support Donald Trump. I was just arguing that point because of that. I apologize for the misunderstanding, and I hope what I said cleared things up. I'm very educated on the topic of politics, despite my age being 14. I'm in favor of demolishing federal programs that really aren't necessary (like Common Core). I'm in favor of focusing on our country and really scaling back on foreign policy. We need to build that wall to stop the flow of drugs and illegals into the United States. Those are my personal opinions. I hope I clarified some statements that were spoken before.
Fox reporter: What do you think of this offensive statement? College students: nah man that aint cool Fox reporter: listen to this sjw thing, this generation is so soft, the absolute worst-
Ghiraahim You see what you want to see. But what is interesting is that you don't have conservatives crying over chalking as they did at Princeton. Your kind made headlines crying over Trump supporter's chalkings. What a bunch of crybabies turning into crybullies. You can't win this one with your projecting. Crawl back to your safe space and suck your thumb crybaby.
These students gave up their time to answer your questions, and you stood there mocking and berating them. Rude and classless. Anyone who embraces this kind of volatile behavior is an example of why we're so divided.
+Clyde Cash Maybe you should become an educated person yourself. (On modern race issues.) (Just saying, if you were going to reply with a rant about your high school GPA and multiple degrees.)
+CEOofFRESH1 I think any decent human would be offended by that language. Just because it's against a white person doesn't make it any less offensive. JFC being rude is really not that difficult of a concept. Educated people get more upset about being rude to non-whites bc they obviously don't hold white privilege, which you would probably deny exists... and I don't feel like explaining.
I thought this was a CollegeHumor parody at first, and then I realized, no, they just literally think this is okay and they're in the right. Like....what the fuck?
Watters is really only embarrassing himself, and Reilly by extension. These Princeton students were succinct and polite in their responses and I for one would love to see the unedited footage, without the childish gimmicks and references.
Jason T One of the things I have against the left media, they go out of their way not to show stories where the left look bad. Hell, look at Cologne cover-up over new years where hundreds of woman were assault or raped by refugees, feminists were silent and if you mentioned it, would call you a racist.. just weird you would think they would be the first to freak out about actual assaults and rapes.
MGTOW FTW still haven't answered my question and resort to using an example from another country, not relating to the topic. Typical right wing thinking.
Well it is Christmas, if you don't believe in the Christ, why would you celebrate. It's for Christian's. So why would you bash it? That's what is wrong with your statement and ideology. Why would you care? I don't celebrate other people's religious holidays, nor do I bash them!!! Why can't people just stop with this B.S. and worry about real problems.
This is great. "Uhm. We spent a whole day trying to get someone to flip out on us, and it didn't work. Let's play goofy sound effects and old movie clips to their perfectly reasonable reactions to my stupidity".
+Robot Aww. Argument from fallacy. You sure showed me. (Hey, look. I can apply logical fallacies that don't actually matter in this context to things you say, too!)
DashCat9 Fantastic, you opened room for discussion. Now, back up your conclusion of me using a fallacy with supporting premises. Keep in mind that logic is applicable in every given context. It is universal and all binding.
+Daniel harvey The chocolate kyle kulinski As humans, we are trapped in the prisonhouse of language. Our entire world is constructed out of words, it is how we know our observable environments. Words are how we express our loves, our hates, our passions--all things. Words can rally a nation to peace, or they can rally a nation to take part in the murder their fellow countrymen based either on creed, race, or sexual orientation. Words are important. They are often precursors to action and depending on those words, those actions can be either great or terrible.
Wow. Those college students were light years ahead of bill's cronies. As hard as his cronie's tried the students took the high road to bill's low road.
@@terezipyrope1728 Respect someone isn't doing them a "favor" - it's earned. It's hard to respect the naivety and lack of experience of younger generations today. Older generations have earned respect because they have more experience and wisdom in life (which you obviously lack).

this guy sound like the boys from my middle school, obnoxious. Like what did you expect would happen when you went around with the intention to insult people? This is just so incredibly sad. Why is he (and fox) so desperate to validate their stupidity?
I hope this reporter is really ashamed of himself...If he weren't so awful I'd feel embarrassed over his ignorance being so prominently displayed on TV.
+wordpressobsessed when these wastes of skin offend people with their statements, shouldn't they be silenced, according to their own criteria of being offensive?
@@davidgray9773 Yes cause America in the past was not great for blacks and Blacks are still underrepresented sure thats improving but Im at Columbia in New York the melting pot capital of America and the number of Black students especially in our Stem departments are disheartening
Fox News is like Schrödinger's douchebag: they decide whether or not they're serious based on the reaction of people around them. For example: the entire video was conducted seriously until they received actual intelligent answers from people...and then suddenly the reporters were "joking" the entire time.
Was that *supposed* to be funny? Or poignant somehow? Watching that, all I could think about were the scenes from Austin Powers where Dr Evil is trying in vain to appeal to his estranged son, Scott.
Is this satire? I honestly can't tell. The amount of times the interviewees had the expression of "how do you actually expect me to answer this" combined with a look of "are you actually that stupid" was pretty fun to watch though.
"Do you think you have white privilege?" "Yes, absolutely." "Do you want to apologize for that?" "Umm, thats a very loaded question." "Is that a sexual reference?" "What?"
+Mitchfynde not really haha, their intention was to make fun of how "sensitive" millenials are and he seemed to really enjoy upsetting them and making them uncomfortable. idunno
Ah that makes sense Mitchfynde, sorry if i misused it :x I meant harassment as in giving someone a hard time. I meant it more like this. ha·rass həˈras,ˈherəs/ verb make repeated small-scale attacks on (an enemy).
Most of the young people in the segment are clearly way smarter and informed than the interviewer, and yet the interviewer is the one who's super smug and patronizing. These kids think he's a super awkward clown, which is exactly what he is. And his use of the word "offensive" is just as brainless and dishonest, because it's a word that's lost all of it's original meaning. "Offensive" used to mean "nauseating", which is how people feel when they're so disgusted that they want to throw up. But conservatives keep misusing the word, and nowadays it's used to describe being overly sensitive. Well guess what, racism and other types of bigotry do way more than hurt feelings. It disgusts people, and it can also potentially make them righteously angry. Young people need to reject the "offended" label that the lying conservative right has imposed on them!
"It's not the America that was great for people who look like me, I'll say that much!" "You mean you didn't like the 80s?" "You mean the last time you got laid?"
+Captainpegs07 Pretty sure that they got it and just didn't think it was funny because people who did find it funny were the epitome of jackasses. Ref: Watters.
+GrandFunker Yeah, Liberals will be like. People are invading our country and killing us. That's not right, but I would never hurt anyone though. So I guess we are all going to die.
Antonio Holley The worlds not all flowers and rainbows, feeble one. We got to this level of society and civilization by those means. Is Sharia law okay with you? Did Europeans not have to push back Muslims two times in the past to get rid of that ideology from their lands? The fact that Christianity teaches a positive outlook on life, was it not okay to try and rid the European world of Muslim views of Quran? Was doing all we can to try and rid the world of Communism wrong. Is communism okay with you? Everything you do is not your own, but the Nation that rules over you. would you not mind communist invading your country and kill you because you believe in different things? Then making you live under communism rule. When people being forced to live under Communist would fight against it. Is it okay that Liberals are allowed to change history and try to make it seem that the very people who started the country they live in. The ones that gave them the rights they have to this day. Just to make white people feel bad for what they did. I don't hear anyone yelling at others for their past wars. Without the very people some POC and white liberals hate. The world would be Communist China, or Islamic Sharia law. Because every intelligent person on this world knows. Sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas were all primitive Nomads or Tribes. So hows that alternative outlook on the world for you? Remember the North Native American tribes were going threw some epidemic before we unknowingly brought our "whole" continents diseases over. Also Sub-Saharan Africa never had use for earthly resources ( never thought to make use of ). Unless its was basic shelter and for killing animals for food.
Ladies and gentleman, America. You make some good points, but I don't give a fuck about a random youtuber that much to go in depth so there ya go. I don't entertain trolls either so anyone saying I'm not intelligent enough to respond or whatever, fuck off.
Emilie: Would you like a puppy or some hot cocoa or maybe a nice little puppy to take into your safe space? Kimmel, Fallon, Colbert, etc can be unprofessional, rude, mean, bullies, ignorant, offensive, and that's just free speech humor, but Watter's is a problem? Your ideology is that of a Left-Wing lost soul; how will you survive the harsh realities of life?
Proud of those young people for being able to stay calm in front of a person that tremendously dense. I would have left right away. Such level of stupidity and childishness from a grown-man amazes me.
It's incredibly easy to make most people look silly or weak on camera with just a little belligerence and selective editing, if that's your aim (as in this case). What's amazing is how well all these folks come across despite Watters' (and O'Reilly's) best efforts. Really a pathetic piece of work.
